Ok, so my family will be eating pbj and hot dogs for the next 3 months, but I had to order most of the new stuff I needed! Right!!!!! You gals will back me on this one I know! My new catalog came yesterday and I emailed my demo this morning with my order. I stopped adding it up at $250! I told her to just email me the total, let me know what I get free and get it send to me quick!
Since I never got Loads of Love, I had to have that, plus the accessories, and then Heartfelt Thanks and Friends are Like Flowers was a must, not to mention the Knubbly Gnames. I knew I wouldn't be able to live without new ribbon, new markers, and new ink also. Then I thought, what the heck, I might as well add in a Christmas set or two. My thoughts were if I do this all at once, I'd have time to save up for the mini!!!!
Can't wait to play with all the new things! Have a wonderful 4th!
OOOH, I should never have read your post! I was going to wait for my stamp club at the end of the month to place a smallish order ~$50, then wait until I'm hostessing in September to go crazy. But why not place a big order now, get my freebies, and get some more later? Ha, we won't even be able to afford PB & J and hot dogs! I wonder how my family feels about foraging in the back yard? Mmmm, worms and twigs!
Wow - you two have me cracking up at work. My co-workers think I'm addicted to stamping so I have to quiet down.
I just sent in my paperwork to be a Demo and have started a long list of things I must have from last years catalog. I don't have a catty yet so I'm reading every post about it.
Luckly I don't have any kids or husband so I can eat tons of PBJ's. I think my order will be around 1,000 and then with my discount I'm sure it will be around 1,300.

Gee, I'm so happy that all of you are making me feel so good about how "little" I'm spending. I'm only having my very own teenie-tiny little $200 party next week. We don't have to eat peanut butter, just hot dogs with mac & cheese!

hey isn't the first step to admit you are a addict. I will work on that one once I have everything out of the catalog. Having a teenie-tiny party is better than no party at all. I don't plan on having any parties but I'm sure my mother has a few lined up with her friends. My demo kit should be here soon.
by the way - I love hot dogs and mac&cheese. It helps so I don't have to spend alot of time in the kitchen away from stamping. Maybe this new habit will help me loss some much needed weight.
Well, I just got the total for the damage I've done today. First let me say that I got Level one set free! I chose Around the Block and then I got $25 in more free stuff--I think that's how I've tell hubby, so I chose Flaky Friends. I've been wanting that set for years, and so now that it was free, well, I had to have it! The other total for my stuff was $277!!!! We are way beyond the peanut butter stage, it's now just water, and more water. But hey, We will be so skinny and lookin' good!!!
I have to see the bright side of everything!!

I may have to pick up an extra day at work for the next few weeks, 'cause I can't wait for some of the stuff! Well, I bought over $250 in retiring sets (yay!) and was planning on exercising self-control with the new catty.
"HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Who did I think that I was fooling?
After looking through the catalog I just cannot help myself... some of the things just HAVE to be liberated and come to MY house to play!! ;)
To make myself feel better I'm going to try to order only what I think I'll use PER SEASON. Of course, any sentiments or otherwise generic sets are FAIR GAME. <snicker!!>
PLEASE KEEP THE POSTS COMING ! ! ! ! You are all making me feel SO much better about the HUGE order I'm about to rack up....
Enable away baby! I put in 2 $150+ orders today, as did Emily.... and we already have another $150 party ready to go in.... just waiting for one more thing we need to figure out before we put it in.... so that will be 5 $150 parties in a 1 week time-span between 2 people.

I'm glad somebody else has this sickness as well! It's so much better to share this with others than keep it in the closet!!! (If I only had room in the closet!)
I did go to the local LSS store and they had two sets from last years Christmas HA that were 75% off. Now how can I pass that up????? At this rate, I'll need another part of my DH's office!! He has noticed that I've grown into his room-poor baby-he only uses a small spot and I've told him he has to share!

We always have an extra bed for ya! So pack your bags when the new stuff comes and as they say "come on down". We live in the heart of Texas and if you like hot, we got HOT! If you come down, there are lots of us SCS gals in this area, so you'll feel right at home, and this is the topper----WE HAVE LOTS OF LSS STORES WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF MY HOUSE!!!!

I can feel a road trip comin' on! Pack up the kids, the hubby, and come down to where it's warm. We don't have a pool, but the city just built a brand new one with slides, and lots of fun things to do! We have two beds in the guest room and lots of floor room. I don't have any other stampers to play with, so all are welcome.
Just let us know, we'll be home all summer! What the heck, everyone who wants to come to Dallas is welcome!~!!!

Just got my catty in my hot little hand a few hours ago as I was walking out of the house. Flipped through it in the car but I'm about to do some serious scouting out right now.

I just placed an order for close to $100 buck for cards for my DS's first birthday. It's Stampin Up! all the way for him, only the best will do.LOL I started making a wish list and stopped after p. 125. The list was too long. I am going to become a demo in the near future so may have to trade off some of my older sets to make way for the new stuff I jsut have to have! The only problem is that I don't want to let go of anything. Heck, I might need it someday! I can't wait to see all of the smaples that will be in the gallery soon.
I won't be able to place an order until the end of August, but my demo is really going to love me then. I added it up this morning and it will be over $300. But then I probably won't buy anything else until January.
DH is out tonight and so I'm left with nothing to do but look over my catalog again and again! After I've already placed my nice order today, I made a new wish list tonight! It's shameful---I want more--no I need more stamps! I think I've added at least 10 more sets that I think will make my life more complete, at least until the fall mini comes out!!!!!
I can't wait to get those cute little purse boxes and tags. They look like they are going to be fun to make. The problem lies with the fact that I don't ever want to part with that type of project, 'cause then I don't have it anymore.
