It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first,only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
I ordered Weathered, Canvas and Floral. Will have to play a bit with Floral as I'm not crazy about the central flowers but love the rest. I ordered Weathered because I love rustic. I saw Canvas stemped and then turned part way and restamped for a whole added look. (Saw that on SCS)
I just ordered last night, and I ordered Linen, Word by Word, and Print Pattern. It was a real toss up between Linen and Canvas, but I thought, well Linen is in the mini, and who know if it's going retail, and canvas is fairly new, it might not retire. I wish I could have ordered more, my demo demoed with the floral background, and I never really liked the look of it before, and now I would love to have it.

I have been wanting to try backgrounds for a long time, and I thought this special was the perfect opportunity to start collecting! I ordered Linen, Crosshatch, and Weathered. I still have several on my wishlist... maybe someday I will be a BG junkie like some of the rest of you!!!

I'm slowly becoming a background junkie...I have By Definition and Word by Word and when I heard about the sale, I ordered Canvas, Print Pattern, and French Script. I then got a great deal on a used Soft Swirls...and I have almost all of the Itty Bitty background sets. The trouble is, I'm newer to stamping and need to buy more sets to use with my backgrounds!
