DEFINITELY take it outside, or at least to your garage. I know it can be a pain, but you really don't want that stuff in your lungs.
I often do more than one at a time, put them in a big box lid and take them outside and spray all at once. Make sure and hold the spray a good 10-12 inches away at least, and just mist the pieces; you don't really need a heavy coat at all.
Give them a couple of minutes and they'll be good to go! If you bought just a plain old can of acrylic sealer, that's all you can do. If you get some "workable fixative" spray sealer, you can stamp on top of it and it will accept the ink.
