I would post on here in the ISO forum of SCS to see if you can find the stamp sets you want on here first, more reasonably priced, IMHO.

If you are on Facebook, I have found a couple buy/sell groups that I have had good experiences with. No price gouging at all. One is Stamping Addicts and the other is Stampin Grammy's. Both are well moderated groups. Mostly Stampin' Up! But you can post pictures of stamps you are looking for.

Another situation to watch out for on e-Bay is some dealers will put "New, hard to find items" on "Buy it Now" for much more than you would pay if you wait for most stores to get these products in stock . I have seen this happen with products such as some Spellbinder dies , Tim Holtz Distress marker sets, the Envelope punch board and other items. Just be patient and wait until you can buy it at regular price or better yet with a coupon .

Another place I have found to buy retired SU stamps and products at a reasonable price is through a Demo's blog. Most Demos don't want to keep all the stamp sets or products that are retired since they can not use them for parties. I never found a SU Demo who charged outrageous prices for the retired products, but they are not going to give them away either.

Occasionally there are people who expect to buy a $30 stamp set for a dollar or two and have the seller pay the shipping LOL . That doesn't happen.

However, You need to check the Demo blogs as soon as the products are retired because they go fast
