Smile Alphabet Question

I know this question has been asked over and over ... but can you kind ladies help me out with an answer again?

I do both scrapbooking and card making. I dont have any SU alphabets yets ... which set do you think would be good for scrapbooking, mostly for making titles I'm thinking. I like the looks of the "Best Friends" alphabet -- and then I'm not sure if I'd want uppers first ... or if I need uppers and lowers at the same time.

I will be putting in a SAB order on January 1st -- any help would be appreciated!

I have really gotten my money out of Letterpress Alphabet. They're all capital serif letters, but I like them - they can be masculine or feminine. Headline Alphabet would be my second choice - they're good to "kiss" on backgrounds and get different looks.

My personal favorite is Well Worn alphabet but I do a lot of vintage looking pages. I think the Notebook is a nice alphabet as well for the money. I really like what the notebook alphabet looks like with my kids school pages.

I agree with BasketMom and ajcmeyer, both are wonderful sets. I am now finding myself having to have big deal alphabet too.
Good Luck in deciding! LOL!

I use Headline Alphabet a lot from SU...you can use for the name frames, scrapbooking, and even just as like a monogram stamp..Took me awhile to buy it, however, have definately used it a lot.

I agree with Donna and others. For page titles, I love my Letterpress alpha, but also have the Whimsical lower for something more fun. Brushstroke is a good alpha for journaling.

I have Letterpress and Brushstroke alphabet. I love both because the sizes are so different.

I have Letterpress and Headline....my style is more Headline and I have used it quite a lot. Easy to keep aligned, very easy to cut out if that's what you want and has the added bonus of being wide enough to stamp the tiny little EFP and EEP words along the "leg" of a letter if you want to do so.

Mostly I use mine for doing monograms or Name Frames but this would be great for scrapping too. Jan

I got the Headline set for Christmas and so far I have only used it for making thank you cards. But I am in love and can't wait to use it for scrapbooking. I also got the best friends upper and lower case and I like that too, but I can tell I am going to use the Headline stamps much more.
