Altered Clipboards

I love the new tutorial (thanks Beate!!). I have a question -- silly it might be. What do you use them for? I've seen gorgeous ones on SCS and when you put clips and adornments on them, I can't think it would be easy to put a tablet on them to write on. I know, there has got to be an obvious answer -- but I'm a little slow right now. Thanks!!!!

I was going to post the exact same question! They are so pretty to look at, but the more embellishments there are, the harder they would be to use. Hmm...maybe we could alter just the backs and leave the fronts plain? Just a thought!

I agree that I don't get the "just decorative" ones, unless they have pictures. I guess you could hang them on a wall.

I made a number of them for teachers and they were definately embellished. I used the flat clip style and there is a hanger in the back. So, my thought was that they would hang it on the wall as a little message center. Now, I'm planning to make one for my husband, since he's coaching soccer and needs a clipboard. Since he'll be using it as a clipboard, I'm just going to mod podge some neat soccer paper to it and stamp 'coach' on it. They are really so fun, who cares what you do with them!!!

Hum, think I'll try them as a message center and use ones with no embellishments for actual use. Sounds like a fun project tho! TFS.
