Default Altered notebooks

Does anyone know where I can get a tutorial or something on making the altered notebooks (like the composition and the spiral bound type.)

TIA

Hope this isn't too late, but I found this tutorial by stampaholic. I can't wait to go to the store and get mine today!

If there is one for the spiral bound, I'd love if someone posted that too!

Here's my small comp book I did, I simply traced the outside of the book and cut out my papers and taped down my ribbon first then attached everything with red liner tape, make sure you do separate pages for front and back covers and then put a separate piece over the spine, it helps it open and close easier with out the papers pulling away from the spine (hope that makes sense) Then I just decorated with stickers.
here's a link:

I just uploaded eight that I had done to my gallery...I love the spiral punch that is in the spring mini...it worked great with the $1 journals from Micheal's.

All I did was measure the outside cover and added a 1/2 to an inch. Then I clipped the corners diagonally, so that it would fold over easily. In the inside, I simply used another piece of paper to cover the raw edges from the front! Check the link in my signature to my gallery to see what I mean! Good luck!
