Just wondering if anyone can tell me where to get empty altoid tins. I have seen so many examples of the adorable tin sets, and I am hoping there is a source for empty tins. If not, this group must have the best collective breath on the face of the planet!!!!
I have a stack of them in my basement. Keeping them just in case of who knows what. Would love to know what to do with them!

Thanks for the help.

LOL!
I just checked and you can buy them pretty cheap on ebay. There's an auction for 6 of them going for less than a dollar (ending in 18 hrs) with no bids. Just search for "altoid tins" and you should find it!
(diclaimer... I am not (nor do I know) the seller!)
**Wanted to add that I'm ordering these because then I won't have to bother with covering the writing on the regular altoid tins. I have something that someone gave me made out of a regular altoid tin and the perfectionist in me is bugged by the nutritional info on the bottom of the tin!

Reason: adding info
I just ordered from http://www.specialtybottle.com and it took only a couple days to get them and if you order 10 the shipping is only $3.95 i think it was. Anything over that kept going up. I figured it out to be a bout a buck a piece with shipping. Good deal. I would order from them again.
Um, for a buck a piece you might as well just buy the candy and put it in a candy jar at work or home then use the tins. The Costco here sells them in bulk packs, didn't check the price.

I got them at the 99 cent store for - 99 cents. Hit the outside with spray paint and everything is covered (an idea from someone on this site).
Thanks so much for the input...I knew you could help me out. The ideas on this site have been such inspiration for me. It's also nice to know I'm not the only addict out there. I stopped calling my demo a demo a while ago and just refer to her as my dealer. It's rubber crack I tell you!!!!
