I take all the stamps the sets of the box and use the set for my stamping project. I go to put them back in the box and I can't figure out the arrangment to make them fit. It is like a puzzle sometimes. Uggh!
before I mount a set, I make 3 copies of the sticker sheet.
1 goes in the book of sets
2 are trimmed to fit the box and taped back to back and stuck in the box.
I can redo the puzzle that way.
I do what parsnip does, I make a copy of the sticker sheet before mounting the stamps, and then run it through the xyron machine. It has been a great help in keeping all the stamps in their proper places. I can tell instantly what's missing. When I take my stamps to the senior center, or to other stamp get-togethers, it's easy to pack up. Sometimes there are several different sets in use at the same time. Eileen

Any ideas for those of us who didn't read this idea until now?
Order a bigger box (see item E on pg 234 of the IB&C); life's too short!
Find yourself a child who can get them back in the container.
Look at the catalog; sometimes the arrangement on the page will work in the box.
Once in the box, take the closed box of stamps to a photocopier (gotta love clear boxes) and make a "map" that you can put in the bottom of the box for next time.
lol, I have this problem with flaky friends. I got them in a trade, and I took them all out of the box to use them the first time, and it took me like 10 min. to get them all back in! Most of my sets have way to much room in their boxes though. Thats the only set I've had any trouble with.....yet
you can also stamp the inside with stazeon ink on the bottom then they go back in thier spot each time.

Oooooh.....Smart. Maybe I should do that because I have the darndest time putting some back in the boxes. I like the StazOn idea also. I swear my daughter stole some of my brain cells when I was pregnant with her because I just can't think of things like this.

Best of luck!
Life indeed is too short. A bigger box is the best suggestion of the day!
