Am I the only one who has not decided on Christmas cards yet...
I am sitting here bored to death at work thinking about all the things I could be getting done at home. One of those is deciding on my christmas cards. I have made two cards so far, one for my best friend and one at a workshop. I am so undecided on my card this year. I have many christmas sets as well, so it's not like I am limited on my choices.
Nope, you're not the only one! I also have a swap I'm going to in December and haven't settled on a card for that either; I really need to get off the computer and start stamping! Good luck with yours!

Nope, you're not the only one. I haven't decided on a design yet or when I'll have time to make them. I have about 30 cards to make for a special order, then I need to make my Christmas cards.

Well I sort of started today, I wanted to make 2 different versions but only 1 is working, I keep getting ideas to make #2 work, buy the stuff & realize...nope it still looks dumb...ugh....

yuppers im in the same boat! I made a card a few weeks ago i realy liked but I'm new to all this and I have been learning new things so now Im like well I like this new idea! My sister thinks I should do a punch of cards. Make them all difarent! I dont know I have one more week before I need them done and I'm only making 30 so we will see :P
I am having a hard time this year too, but I think I will have mostly the same design and then add a few more I made when I was just playing around one week. I just can't decide which one I like best to mass produce.

I ordered Snowflakes as my Consistencty Counts set and it arrived last night. Now to look at the gallery for inspiration. I need to get going on this project! I did not send cards out last year!

I keep ordering or borrowing sets and cant make a card that I like for christmas cards. Hallmark is starting to look like a good option! lol
I thought stamping was surpose to relieve stress but only causing it! lol
I did finally decide on mine, made two samples to show DH and he decided he liked both color combos, so I am doing 20 of each color combo. Although..yucky poo, both of them consist of me cutting 6 (1-1/2 inch) squares for each card, I figure I am doing 40 cards...YIKES, you do the math..lol. Thankfully I have my wonderful Tonic cutter so that makes it a breeze, that and the new work bench hubby built for me that I can cut at without straining!

Well... I'm done. But that is thanks to looking in the Gallery to see what others have done with the sets that I own. I don't like to procrastinate on my Christmas cards because that just stresses me out. When I get stressed, I tend to not be able to do anything. (Sort of an evil circle then... I can't do anything, I get stressed and then I can't do anything +, etc.)
I think I've posted about my own "rule"... I have to have my Christmas cards done prior to going to any stamp conventions or convention-like events. Typically my cards are done by October because that was when the St. Paul Rubberama was held. This also frees me from "having" to look for that specific stamp that I just "have to have" at the convention for my cards. Granted I can look at stamps for the next year's cards, but there isn't that pressure to find "the" stamp. Anyhow, it works for me. ;)

count me in the boat (if it hasn't sunk yet!) I have 2 ideas but no time to do them...I will probably be up one entire night just banging them out....ugh!
I'm with you all... I need to work on them. I have a small family, so I only need to make about 25 for family and friends. But then I still have all my on-line friends to make for. And I am bad too. I generally do 4 of the same card. Think of another idea, do 4 more... So on and so on... I get so bored with the mass producing. I just might have to do that though this year. It's almost December...

OK, confession time... I cheated this year on my cards. I had to make 70 or so... and I couldn't come up with a design I liked, and I couldn't figure out when I would even have the time (right now, I'm basically working 12 days on, then two days off, then start over again). So, I ordered card kits... you know, with the base cards and stickers. Took me about 3 hours to assemble them all, and I just need to add our picture to them and I will be done. I know... no stamping, but the stickers are arranged in original ways, not the way the kit said to do it, and I added some brads, etc.... so I was being a little creative! OK, confession over (I was not a good little stamper this year). Cheers to all who are sticking with it and making those beautiful cards!

I'm in the same boat! I have about 50 cards to make and NO idea what I'm going to do. I'm hosting a stamping party on Saturday where a couple of my friends are going to get together and make our cards........hope I have at least an IDEA by then. Guess I'd better get into the gallery for some inspiration...
I can't believe it is almost December. I haven't even started my Christmas cards. I thought about them for the first time yesterday. If my 3 darling children will sit close enough to each other so I can take a pictire, I may make my own photo cards. But I'm not counting on getting a good picture. At 5, 3, and 1 I don't think I have a chance.
I so understand Paula! I can't get my 2 year old to sit with the baby! he just cries! lol. I so wanted a pic of the 2 of them for my Christmas cards, I think we will have to do family pics this year!

I have half of mine finished, only because they are leftovers from last year. Still have to color them though. Now to think of what I'm going to do for the rest of them. No time, no motivation and no umph power. What's a girl to do?
Just jump in there I guess....sighhh. Gotta get them done, gotta get them done....

Actually, one very well-known professional stamper/designer I know personally BUYS her Christmas cards every year. By the time Christmas rolls around, she's already burnt out on holiday designs she spent all summer creating, so, she cuts herself some slack.
I can't argue with that and often consider the same. Mebbe next year, that's what I'll do. The idea of focusing my time and energy on making gifts and wrappings for my gifts with my stamps is very appealing!

I'm still trying to decide if I should use last year's (which I never sent out), or make something new for this year!
Gosh and I thought I was the only one who actually took the time to make cards and then not send them all out.
My mom and friend are coming over Sunday to make their cards, so I am hoping I come up with something by then. That way they can help with mine as well. So undecided... I have sets that I bought last year that I have not touched yet, then I went and bought Snow Flurries.
