Wow, this whole thread scares me! I think for the most part, the SCS community as a whole seems very positive, and personally I myself have only had good things happen here. I have not gotten as involved as you have with all of the swapping, and only recently signed up for a swap myself, but it has always been positive.
As far as your initial post, I would be upset as well for the lack of consideration to:
1. Post an exact duplicate of your swap within days of you posting your own
2. Copying almost verbatim your own words to organize it.
It would be very confusing to the general public that perhaps you and this other person were not organizing the event together, or you have two of the same swap going at the same time. Personally I am not sure I would recognize it myself.
I am also sorry you have had so many things go wrong... I feel your pain.... sometimes life just give you LEMONS! But, this is a good community here, lot's of very supportive ladies, and just continue to pay it forward without expectations, and I believe it will turn for you.
Now if you could PM me your address I would love an opportunity to send something your way! Someone recently contacted me, and offered to send something out of the blue, and it was such a WONDERFUL surprise. I would love to "pay it forward".
