Default Any ideas????

I am so excited! My daughter's 1st grade teacher found great interest in my stamping hobby & wants me to come & do a project with the kids in December (she is into stamping & offered the use of all her supplies! Gotta love that!). The problem is, I am so detail oriented that I can't figure out a cute but simple project for them to do!

Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Terri

How about doorknob signs for their bedrooms? Or treat bag toppers?

Red face idea....

I would do a 'parent gift' and a matching gift bag (lunch bag stamped). Ideas would be refridgerator magnet, or photo frame. If $$$ is an issue, how about unlined index cards the kids can stamp and decorate and make coupons(put in bags still) for thier parents, like "clean my room without begging' or 'feed fido' or 'extra hug and kiss' or 'take out garbage' or 'do dishes' or something like that.

I did a project for granddaughter's kindergarten class. Snowmen stamped on red or green CS (use deckle or scallop scissors to cut 4x4 inch square). Then put Liquid Applique on the snowmen. After the kids do this, let them WATCH while you use your heat gun to make the snow "puff" up. They really like this part. When cool, punch a 1/4 inch hole in the top and tie yarn or ribbon to make an ornament.

Default any ideas

I did this for a DD class. The kids loves to stamp and make something for Mom. I went to LOWES and got the stone tiles and got out the trusty stazon and the frabrico markers and I used the stripple rose. They loved the coasters and it was so fun to see them stamp when some of the kids really could not do much at all, but they lit up when we did this project. I also ended up with several orders from Moms later....
good luck

The 2-4-6-8 box is nice with a ribbion to hold it close. Only requries one sheet of paper, stamping, and the ribbion.

One of the projects I'm going to make with kids is the mini fruit pop top cans. You may not be able to eat that much fruit, but at our house we do. You take the BOTTOM off of the mini fruit cans, leaving the pop top intact. Wash, dry fill with candy or whatever and then reseal the bottom on with crystal effects. Then wheel some design to cover the outside. Really cute and simple for kids to do.

I made picture frames with my daughters class. I used my Sizzix Die cutting system and cut out cardstock, had the kids use inexpensive foam snowflake stamps that I had purchased at Wal-mart and let them go to town. After it was dry, I put a magnet on the back. Then the children gave them to their parents to hang on the fridge. They could put their ownhand drawn little portrait or a family picture in the frame. It was a HUGE hit with the parents, teacher and especially the kids!
