Any New Year's Eve SCS Challenges????

Just wondering if SCS is having any kind of New Years Eve challenges for those of us staying home

No official ones that I'm aware of.

I'm sure the mods will be taking the holiday off, so no approvals for uploads.

Okay, just for fun, I've set up a yahoo group to help us get through the transition from 2006 to 2007.

The purpose is to help us in our withdrawl while our SCS moderators are enjoying their much deserved vacation.

Be aware that you can only post or upload pics if you become a member. Anyone can join. So it's not hard.

Now we just need to come up with some challenges for tomorrow. If you have an idea, feel free to pm me. It's just for fun, so let's have some!

Unless you're a member of the Fan Club, right? Couldn't you hold a Members Only ('k, I'm full of *old* references tonight) Challenge? Maybe it would get more people to sign up so they could upload!

I guess I should have said a member of the yahoo group. Of course, you can also become a member of SCS and upload anytime.

Ok off topic, but I am a member so am I allowed to upload on a Sunday? I never have because I thought you weren't supposed to regardless of if you are a member or not?

You sure can

The reason for the "no upload sunday" it because the Mods need to approve each upload. It gives them the day off and makes it so they don't get swamped on Monday.

Fan Club Members, Mods and Dirty Dozen (past and present) get instant approvals. All the above can upload any time they like.

Cool idea! I'm thinking we probably should have thought of this a week ago. :p How quickly do approvals go through? I don't remember if they are automatic. If not, we're back to the moderators working on a holiday & Sunday.

Like Jeanne said, yes you can. The moderators just ask that you remember to put your card in the correct gallery. I guess people are in a hurry sometimes and don't bother to place it correctly.

For fan club members the approvals are automatic. If you aren't a member they won't be approved until sometime on Monday or Tuesday this week.
