Default Any tips on how to add ink to your pad?

My SU black pad seemed to be stamping a little light, so I ordered a black SU reinker.

Are there any special things I need to do to reink?

:::It's almost scary, all I don't know!!:::

I just reinked mine. I just squeezed the reinker over the pad in a zig zag long ways. I didn't use the pad right away - just let it settle overnight. I used abut a quarter of the bottle - it was pretty dry. I am not sure there is a specific technique. hope that helps!

I do the same thing, too - just zig zag over the stamp pad - but I do it both lengthwise and widthwise and I use it immediately. This seems to work fine for me.

After you squirt the ink onto the pad use the bottle tip (no squeezing!) to work the ink into the pad. Just rub it around to help disperse the ink.

Tips:

A brand new pad contains one full bottle of ink.
While inking, every now and then touch the tip of the reinker to the pad. If you press it and liquid ink comes up on the pad it is time to stop.
If you get too much, press paper toweling on it to remove excess.
