Are there any little tips to reinking a stamp pad? or just go in and wing it? how many "drops" are you supposed to put?
(if it even comes out in drops, I don't know)
Make sure you shake your reinkers well - the color settles to the bottom.
I go back and forth across the pad with the reinker and then work it in by swiping an old credit card back and forth.
Here's the way I was taught and what I do. I was taught this by an upline who's very smart and savvy! Go back and forth, up and down. A good reinking uses about 1/4 of a bottle of reinker. This shocked me, but my pads are great since I've been doing this.

I use the thin plastic fake credit cards that come in the mail with credit card offers to work the ink into the pad. This is probably the only place I could admit that I save them for that purpose without being called crazy!!

Had NO idea I was supposed to shake them. Thanks!

Thanks for all the helpful hints on reinking....I have always been concerned I would over-ink the pad, so I would lightly squirt on ink in the "plaid fashion" described above. I will now be more generous with the ink and I will also smooth the ink in with those flimsy fake credit cards that I have been saving -- I knew they would come in handy for something!

Me either! I guess I've been really stingy with my reinker too, but I haven't noticed a difference, so I guess I will just keep being stingy and reinking more frequently.
(I'm a little more sneaky with my s)
