Talking Anybody else thinking their child's next b-day party should...

be a cowboy party? I'm so lovin' all the awesome cowboy kid cards that are being posted in the gallery. DS won't turn 3 until February but my mind is just spinning with ideas of ways to use that set and plan a party. Has this crossed anbody else's mind?

I thought you were going to say a stamping party!

One of my favorite birthday parties I went to as a preteen was a Mary Kay party. The sales consultant was a friend of the girl's Mom and we had a skin care party and light make up- without the sales pitch. Of course, later on when we were seeking skin care we all remembered the party and it turned us on to Mary Kay. I bet an SU consultant could sell a birthday party package for older kids. Charge a fee to have the party (supplies for x-number of projects) without any talk of sales, but hand out a business cards to the parents for when it turns out the kids are going to be hooked.

I don't have any children but if I had young ones I might want a cowboy party for them just so I could use those stamps in my scrapbook.

Well, we had some PERFECT timing this year: My DD (5 on June 1) is in love with horses and she said that a cowgirl and cowboy party would be fun. And then, WHOOHOOO a new Cowboy set! So, that's what we are doing! YEAH!! I just need that cute little set to get here, I'm cutting it close!

I sure could have used them 7 and 11 years ago respectfully. Both boys had parties and I had pony rides for the party.

We did a barnyard theme two years ago for my girl's 4th b-day...had some cowboy/cowgirl looking items...I used small hay bails for the tables with rope hanging over them to look like lasso's...red bandana's...stuck a birthday sign and balloons in the top of the bail...it turned out real cute...made a cow out of a box that had an utter (rubber glove filled with water)...that would make a cute cowboy game...lasso the cow...I made a red barn out of a large box...the kids got metal buckets with bandana's hanging over the edge...it was fun...I will stop now
