Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo on August 20th? I was trying to decide whether to go or not. Last year I had ordered tickets early, but I didn't get a chance to this year. We also had a group of stampers go up together last year, but one was going to be out of town and the others didn't sound interested this year. Let me know. I would love to meet up with some SCS people.

I actually posted a similar question on the demo side under Stampin Events...was wondering if anyone had attended this one and if they were worth it. The responses all indicated that they were a lot of fun. My DD actually had the Ft. Collins one on HER calendar and reminded me of it a couple days ago. I think we're going to go, although Ft. Collins is about a 5 hour drive from here. We can combine the trip w/ some back-to-school clothes shopping for her (not much for her here except the marts).

BTW - DH and I used to live in Boulder (he graduated from CU).
I think it was worth it last year. You can see some of the newer trends and what other companies are up to in the business. We did quite a few demos too that were fun. This time though, I think I will leave my pocket book at home because I really didn't need the things I bought and they ended up sitting on my shelves collecting dust. PM me if you are definately going to be there. I would love just to say hi in RL. Oh yeah...pack lunch. Last year they were overcharging for food that didn't look so great.

Make sure you realize that Friday's times are only from 6-9 p.m.
What do you think of the postcard from the show:
It says Strollers OK! but immediately below that it says "Wheelchairs suggested after 12 Noon!
I think this is very discriminatory and if you agree please pass your feelings on to the sponsors. You can go to their website: www.rubberstampandscrapbookexpo.com
They aren't trying to be discriminating. I was there last year and trust me, even a stroller would have had problems getting through that crowd first thing in the morning. I think they just wanted to warn people how busy and crowded it gets. It isn't a big huge open area. They do this in 2 fairly small rooms. It is very hard to get around no matter who you are.
