I'm debating ordering either the French Envy or Custom Cabinet stamp cabinets. Does anyone have either of these? What do you like/hate about it? Now that you have it, is it worth the money?
I've spent so much on different storage chests, etc., I probably should have just put one large amount out in the beginning. I really need to do something.
My dh got the "armoire" version just after we moved the last time. This version is simply two of the base cabinets together. I have two file drawers in the bottom cabinet (one on each side) and I still have lots of trays. It is great for storage, but I am still using our kitchen table as my work surface. I have my trays organized according to topics in the SU catty. It did take dh an entire afternoon to assemble the cabinet.

I have the custom cabinet and love it. I am considering getting another one, however this time I wouldn't order the 16" x 20" trays to go with it. I found that in order to accomdate my taller items I needed the space above left open, so I wound up with more trays than I actually needed. Also, you can purchase the trays (they are the acrylic box type photo frames you can get at A.C. Moore or Michael's) at your local store, this saves on shipping and allows you to use a coupon or get them on sale.
What is the website to that company, please? I had it and lost it. Also do youhave any pictures of your things in place and is it possible to show us here?

This may be what you're looking for: www.collectors-cabinets.com. I have seen their brochure, and the cabinets look beautiful. But the pictures show the stamps separated from their sets to lay in the trays, and I don't want to do that. So I'm holding off for now to think about other options.
Good luck!

My DH just bulit me a whole stamp and scrap room. We found cabnets at Home Depot. They were so worth the money and are just like the ones that they sell at Archivers. We saved a lot of money and you built based on your space.
Amanda,
Do you have a pic posted in the gallery. Did you unbox your sets. i have over 300 sets and just lost my stamping space due to a kitchen remodel and I am now confined to a corner in our bedroom. I dont want to keep them in boxes in the garage/ Help anyone?
I do not have a picture but I will see what I can do. I have never posted a picture before. They are still in their cases. I buily based on my space and my storage needs. All the cabnets were under $40 except for the large pantry shelf.
