I just received my order today - woot! I placed the order on Aug. 4 and got it on the 11th. My entire order was Cuttlebug embossing folders, some of which were preorders, but they all came today. I had no problem with the company at all.

I placed an order with them the end of June and I'm still waiting on items. No matter how good the price is, I'm sure I won't be plaing anymore orders with them.

Well, now I'm certain I won't order from them. I also ordered preorder Cuttlebug folders. When I email to ask the status, the reply is that they are still waiting on the shipment. :(

I have ordered from them and have never had a problem. Find them to ship about the same as any one else.

I am another one that has had nothing but problems ordering from OMC. There are other threads here too about bad experiences with them. I for one will never part with my any more of my money to that company.
blessings.

I ordered my Sillouette from them and was thrilled with the experience. I ordered it on a Sunday night, had confirmation that it had shipped the next day and it was delivered on Thursday. The price was great and I got e-mails every step of the way.

It is very possible that OMC has corrected some of the problems that they were having so I hope that is the case. It certainly sounds as if they are shipping faster.

I ordered from them a couple of months ago because they had CB stuff on sale and had an excellent customer service. There was a mix up with the order (totally my fault) and it was handled in a very professional manner.

I pre ordered CB folders from them last year and didn't have a problem then either. As Amber says, sounds like they took action and fixed the problems.

Thumbs up my Oh My Crafts experience.

:p
I ordered some alcohol ink from OMC and it arrived in 3 days, and there was an email on the progress of the shipment from order to delivery. There was a problem with one of the items not being correct. I did a response to customer service on the day after I received the items (Fri) and received a prompt reply stating that the correct item would be sent the following Monday. I received the correct item today, Wed.
I think that the customer service team did an outstanding job of correcting an error on their part. I was not asked to return the incorrect item. I am very happy with the outcome of my order and will order from them again.
It sounds like most of the problems are with an item in high demand. I will not hesitate to tell others to use OMC.

Same here. I waited like 3 weeks! I am a very patient person. Just let me know you'll be shipping late, had car trouble, whatever. Just don't leave me hanging.

Oh, this is bad. I placed a $500 order with them last Sunday before I knew anything about them. Trying to get them to cancel it now because it still hasn't shipped. Can't reach anyone on the phone, they don't answer emails. Guess I will dispute with my credit card company.
I am so bummed.

I placed an order with them on the 16th and am still waiting.

I called last week and was told that the item was on backorder. I wish they would have left me know this when I placed my order. They charged my card the day I placed my order or I would cancel it and order it from someone else.

Just adding on here that this company is still playing games with people.....taking their money and not shipping the orders! I've been trying to get my order from them since November 5th. Buyer Beware!

Default Oh my Crafts

I'm so suprised by these responses, I love Oh My Crafts. I have ordered 3 different times and my stuff shipped quickly and I have always received my full order.
I pre-ordered once for something that wasn't supposed to ship for 2 months and I received it in 2 weeks.
Their Cricut cartridge prices are unbeatable.

I've ordered from them several times with no problems. Quite the opposite in fact because I screwed up and duplicated an order and they went out of their way to help me straighten it out. I wonder why there is such a difference in the levels of cs?

I *just* placed an order with them. I wish I had found this thread first. I'll keep my fingers crossed.I searched for a coupon code and came up with one that was supposed to give 20% off orders of $25 or more, but my discount only came up as 15%. I guess that's better than nothing.

My experience was slow, over a year ago I think. ProvoCraft was I think having issues keeping up with demand for new Cuttlebug embossing folders, and smaller merchants were taking it in the chin. But, sounds like slow is normal anyways for them. I did get my stuff, just not expediently.

I had that same problem, where I didn't get the correct discount on my order, or it would take forever for it to arrive. I've finally given up and stopped ordering from them, it's just not worth the aggravation for the slight difference in price. Stampingscrapping.com or 7kidscollegefund.com can be pretty competitive in their pricing for some of the same items, and their service is much better for both of those sites.

I have ordered with them. Their prices are good, but took over 2 weeks to get my items. Everything shipped fine and I was happy with what I got. So, if you don't mind the wait, I would say their are fine.

I've ordered from them before and shipping was good. However, I have spent the past 2 weeks trying to order from them to get their 20% special on embossing folders and couldn't get it to go through. Very disappointing.

I haven't had a problem with shipping. Very cheap cricut carts...cheapest I've found around.

Also, don't forget that these days a lot of companies are having trouble getting inventory that needs to be imported.

Shipping lines cant get the credit they need to move inventories and a lot of times they are combining shipments so that the haul is full rather than just go with a partial shipment to get there on time. They aren't wasting a penny now.

If the are transporting across the US, the same holds true for any material going via truck or rail.

If you notice, your grocery stores, Walmart etc have their inventories more spread out now to make it look like they are full. Many have widened the aisles as well.

Its not always the store you are buying from. A lot of times it is them trying to get their stock delivered to keep up with demand.

So goes "Just in Time" delivery methods. When the going gets tough, the consumer is going to wait...or not get at all.

I've ordered from them 3 times over the holiday season and received everything in an extremely timely manner and the orders were complete. No complaints, other than the number of emails they send out ... three in one week is far too often.

They should not be selling stuff that they do not have to ship....that is my opinion.

Everything needs to be shipped. Either they are their won factory and make every item they sell, or they are ordering from someone who makes them and that requires shipping.

Once a customer places an order, that order now needs to ship. There is no way around it unless you purchse directly from a factory that makes their own products and even then, they rely on materials to make those products that are shipped. Any glitch in the chain is going to cause problems.

Some of these stores keep such large inventories that they can keep stocked. Some of the smaller ones, do not. While their overhead for a smaller outfit is lower, they can pass that savings on to you, but it also means they might have breaks in their supply lines.

Just checked the status of my order (placed 1/1/10) and it's now saying "shipped" so I'm feeling more at ease.

I have been buying on-line for almost 15 years and my last (and final) experience with Oh My Crafts was by far the worst of any transaction I've ever had. I think they probably do just fine as long as there is not a problem with the order such as out of stock, pre-order, sending the wrong item, arriving damaged or just not arriving at all. My package never came. It took many e-mails and mutiple unanswered long distance telephone calls over the course of 2 weeks without response before I finally reached someone. They told me my package must have been "stolen from my porch" and declined to do anything until I filed a complaint with the BBB. I knew it hadn't been "stolen" since I am home during the day, don't have a porch, but do have a gated yard and a dog in a fenced-off side dog run that goes crazy if someone unlatches the front gate. It was funny because they told the BBB that they were in the process of filing a lost package claim with UPS, however this was news to me - their attitude was pretty much that it was just my bad luck. I found their attitude and lack of customer service was astonishing until the BBB got involved. They then tried to make it right and did finally refund all my money - about $80 and later sent a package with some of the things I had ordered. I tried to contact them so I could pay for the things I did finally receive, but they never responded to my attempts. This was a couple of years ago and from what I have read in this and other threads, it seems that maybe they have improved their customer service. I certainly do hope so. Even though they eventually fixed my problem, I don't believe anyone should have to go through that kind of hassle just to purchase a vendor's wares and I certainly would never consider ordering from them again.

I placed a order with them and then read all the negative things
about them, BUT.....I received my order in 1 week from the order
date. Couldn't ask for anything better than that! I will not
hesitate to order from them again.

I have ordered a couple of times from them and they have been delivered
in a very timely manner and I have been very pleased. All of these posts
are old, so they must have gotten their act together. I would recommend them.

Smile ...never a problem

I have ordered from them several times over the past 2-3 years and, quite honestly, have never had a problem.

I ordered 2 cartridges this past Monday and received them 2 days later!

I plan to continue to buy from them. Sorry to hear about other's negative experience.

I just recently received my first order from them. Their prices were good, but like others, I thought their shipping was extremely slow. I ordered a CB folder that was out of stock/backordered until late May, but I didn't know about it until I received my order. I think their online store should show when items are out of stock. It took about 10 days to receive my order, which to me is slow because everything else I've ordered online recently has only taken a few days (HP printer: ordered on Saturday AM, had it Tuesday PM, Unity: ordered Friday PM, received in regular mail on Tuesday).

I was also a bit peeved at the shipping cost. I ordered mostly CB folders and dies and a couple of individual, unmounted stamps. When I checked out, it said shipping would be $12.00, which I thought was pretty high for a $40.00 order. Then when I checked my order status later, they charged another $2.00 for shipping!! I got the order on the same day they sent me an e-mail saying it had been shipped. They could have shipped it in a large padded envelope for about $5.00 I'm guessing.\\

Not sure whether or not I will order from them again, but at least I know what to expect before I do.

I'm giving up on them. Everytime I order from one of their "great email promotions", something that's advertised isn't in stock, and I end up waiting for it 2 months later! It'd be different if they stated that up front, but they don't, and that's frustrating. I have given up and cancelled that last item, and just purchased it elsewhere. At least they've been good and refunded my money. A wait of a week or two isn't bad or if you know it's a pre order you expect to wait, but an order of what appears to be in stock items with no followup is poor service!!!

I agree with the previous comments. When i order from this company, I know it will take many many weeks to arrive. They often take orders on items without saying they are out of stock on them. They really have no idea when they are coming in, so they can't say when they will be able to mail them to you. It's frustrating.

I believe they have the same topic on these if you browse throught the forums under General Stamping stuff. Anyways, I dislike this company so much that it took them 2 months to ship 1 cuddlebug folder...and when they shipped it to me they sent 2 extra ones...I guess so I wouldnt complain to other stampers.

I hope you get your product soon and I'll see if I can help you find the forum too.

I order from them alot. I've never had any issues. I have even cancelled an order and didn't get any grief about the cancellation. My last order took a little longer than the usual, but I rarely order because I need the product right away, so it wasn't an issue. I got my item in the same amount of time it takes to get a SU package.
