Default Archival Mist?? Anyone use it?

I have seen this product in many adds in magazines and in the stores. Has anyone ever used it?

I have a newspaper artical that REALLY needs to be saved. My husbands grandmother was featured in his home town paper before she passed. The artical featured the quilt that she was working on for my son, it shows her and the quilt.

She passed away before my son was born, so this is the only thing I have of her and something of DS.

Any thoughts on this product or anything else that you have used would be great!!!

Thanks,
Michelle

You could scan in the article onto a computer and print it out onto AF/LF paper, or you could photocopy it onto AF/LF. I have a can of Archival Mist that I am going to use on squares of wedding giftwrap from our wedding, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I have used the achival spray, but only on a newspaper clipping of my bil when he passed away from a motorcycle accident. I did scrap the several articles that were in the newspaper so I used the spray a lot. It does stink so make sure you use it outside. I just checked the pages I did 2 years ago with it - looks as good as new - no yellowing or fading. I think it really has to do with making it acid free? Make sure you shop around since it is pretty expensive!

Did the newspaper take the photo? Ask them for a nice copy. If they have a website, you could find the article there and print directly. (Did this for my bil obit.)

Archival mist is expensive, I'd go with the other ladies' suggestions and print/scan your own copy.

Archival Mist is $60 CDN at Michaels, but I found it for $25 online (Scrapbooker's Paradise, ships to both Canada and the US, and has its prices online in both currencies No not the owner, just a happy customer from before they switched their shipping contract to CanPar).

I don't know if the cans of AM are the same size, but I do know I am happy with the size of can I have now.
