and thought it would be a fun idea and will start it by sending a card out tomorrow.
So if you are interested please send a pm to me with your address and let's see how quickly I can assemble a chain of addresses to keep the card going.... an SU card making through all 50 states and BEYOND would be something....
I posted this a couple of days ago and am getting a good response but want to add to the list this is how it works:
I will start it by sending out the card.
To get your name on the list just send me your address.
Once you get the card pm me and I will give you the addy of the next recipient (I don't want to post addresses). Put your name, state and the date you got it and send it forward�
I will soon post the states that we have participants for!
Every state can have more than one person of course!
The Traveling Card has started it's greatest journey ever, ok it's only journey but sounds exciting either way!
Here is the letter that accompanies the card. If you wish to see the card check out my gallery, but if you want to be surprised wait until it reaches your home ~ Don't look!
But you have to be a willing host(ess) to have this house guest!.

I AM THE �TRAVELING CARD� AND ON A VERY EXCITING ROAD TRIP! I WAS THE ORIGINAL BRAIN CHILD OF SLN1294 ON SCS AND LMARTIN, FOUND THE POST AND WANTED TO GET THIS GREAT IDEA AND ME MOVING ALONG!
I AM NOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CARD EVER CREATED BUT, I HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL WELL TO ALL CORNERS OF THE U.S.
THE WHOLE IDEA IS TO SEE HAVE FAR AND HOW MANY STATES I CAN BE SENT TO, AND/OR HOW MANY TIMES I WAS SENT TO THE SAME STATE, AND/OR IF I CAN HIT ALL 50 STATES ~ HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE?!!!?
I ORIGINATED FROM TUALATIN, OREGON AND MY FIRST DESTINATION IS NY!
IF YOU HAVE FOUND ME IN YOUR MAILBOX THEN YOU SIGNED UP TO LET ME VISIT YOU AND YOUR STATE ~ THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY!
WHEN I HAVE BECOME THE HOUSE GUEST THAT HAS OVER STAYED MY WELCOME AND NEEDS TO MOVE ON PLEASE:
1) PM LMARTIN ON SCS TO FIND OUT WHERE I AM TO BE MAILED OFF TO NEXT. I LOVE A MYSTERY ~ AS I WON�T KNOW UNTIL YOU DO!
2) WRITE OUR NAME (SCS NAME IS FINE, IF YOU WISH), STATE AND DATE I ARRIVED.
3) IF I LOOK LIKE I HAVE BEEN INJURED THROUGHOUT MY TRAVELS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ME PAPER 1ST AID, OR GIVE ME A FACELIFT

PS ~ please, please, please don't let this card sit on your counter, table or in your mailbox next to or around "yuk" under Bill (Bill is a really downer type of guy he wants your money, has nothing nice to say and expects your immediate attention)!
I know that it may seem selfish but I believe this card deserves your attention right away as I am hoping it will bring a smile to your face, a fuzzy warm feeling in your heart and rip you off of 2 stamps to fund the next trip!
Well you know I have to have some help from my friends to give this card the ride of it's life!!!

I think you may have a problem here. One of the reasons you may not be getting any responses is the link. I clicked on it, but was denied access. So a lot of others probably had the same thing happen.

Wow, this card should be traveling at least until the end of year! From all the responses I have recieved but I still need to add to the travel intinerary the following states.

I am anxiously, yet patiently waiting for when the traveling card can arrive at my house for one overnight stay. Also, I decided to be surprised and not try to see it ahead of time. Aren't surprises fun?? Then I'll be surprised again about where I get to send it. Wouldn't you like to join in the fun? Have a great day and enjoy your next stamping adventure.
Hey all, the card seems be on a slow boat to Texas but should be there ANY day now.
Travel times seem to vary especially when it is criss-crossing the US.
If it hasn't arrived by this weekend I will be creating another to take it's place.

A new card will be created and sent out within the next few days. If the first one is found then I will work backward on the list and maybe the two shall meet in the middle!
I got caught up the Mother's day weekend, my daughter coming home, the nice weather (finally here for a day or two) and a long country drive in my convertible 1964 VW.
I did not get the card finished and mailed out, bad me, :(
My apologizes, and thank you for understanding....
