Oh where, oh where has the traveling card gone?
Oh where, oh where can it be?
With its envie sealed tight and postage just right,
Oh where, oh where can it be?
I will make a third card to send next week,
You all will get a sneak peek,
But, if the third time is not a charm,
Hold me back as I am ready to provide the PO harm!
Seriously, if it can't be found,
I have been ko'd in this round,
So, if any wants to take this on, step up the plate,
Any offers to do so would be great!

I have checked with the last sender and it has not been returned. And I am not able to contact the latest receipant.
I am not sure what the situation maybe but this it the 3rd card to go out and and it has not made it's destination in as many times.
I must say to you all that I have failed at this endeavor and that I can not continue to try to make this card go any further.... It has taken so much time, effort and been very frustrating to find out the card isn't moving along at a pace it should be.
I really don't mean to let anyone down, but I have to move on here.
If anyone, is interested in keeping this going, please contact me and I will supply you the address list.
Thanks so much for your interest and excitement in this endeavor but it is time to call it quits. :(:(:(
Hugs,
Lisa
Lisa,
I don't think you failed at all! I agree that it has been frustrating. If people didn't have time to play, they probably shouldn't have signed up, but I also recognize that sometimes life interferes with the best of intentions. So, thanks for all of your efforts - it reallly was a great idea! Don't worry about letting anyone down, we all know you did the best you could. Thanks again for thinking of the idea and for giving it a try. Please please don't lose any sleep over this! Have a great day!
Jen
Should we try something new? What if Linda sent us all the list of names that originally wanted to participate in this and we each either
sent everyone on the list a card within a month
or
everybody get the list and send a card to the person beneath you on the list; when you get your card from the person above you on the list, mark your name, city and date and send it on to the person below you on the list.
Do either of these ideas make sense?
Do either of these appeal to anybody?
Of course with the last option, if it actually worked, you would end up getting your own card back. If that actually happens, we should send them all to Lisa (not Linda as I said in my previous post - sorry!).
You are awesome... you took my last endeavor of send a card, get a card to great heights.... I see it still going on ..... congratulations and thanks!!!
I would be happy to send on the list of names as long as they are are not posted publically as I wanted to keep those addies private... but most of them are public as they ask where is the "darn card."
I have be done what I could to move this wonderful suggestion along but I may not be on SCS enough to be effective.
Thanks and hugs to you!
Lisa
PS, when people forget my name and look at me they always call me Linda..... I sure find it funny that no other name pops into their minds.... I guess I should have been a Linda....I do answer to it as well..... go figure ;)

Please, DO NOT post the address list publicly in this forum. Yes, I know my username is public, but I, for one, don't wish to have my mailing address made public.
My original intention was to be the contact for the addresses and I would never, never, ever break the trust of anyone who has contacted me about participating in this "traveling card."
I think it is best to just let this idea fizzle out....:( in the best interests of those who trusted me to keep things confidential.
If the card shows up, then I will do what I can to keep it moving along, but not at the expense of disclosing addresses or losing the faith in me to keep confidences of those who trusted me with their personal information.
I don't want to appear rude to anyone who wants to help but personal information is sacred during these economic times and the threats that come with disclosing/exposing ourselved on such public forum.....not only identity theft...... but I would never forgive myself it there were other disclosures that put anyone of my fellow SCS sisters in harms way!!!
