I love those metal charms from Target's Dollar Spot, so I bought some, intending to attach them to my cards. . .but now I feel impaired. I tried an eyelet and using some wire, but nothing looks right. Am I missing something obvious? Is there an easier way?
I also use the jump rings. Sometimes I have to use two jump rings (attached like a chain) to make them lay correctly. It depends on how the charm is made, i.e. where the opening of the "eye" is. Does that make sense?
I have also kinda "faked it" and attached charms with a glue dot, and then the wire and/or ribbon. The charm doesn't swing this way, but visually it is the same effect.
I always use a saftey pin. like the MM ones. if they don't lay right I add a jump ring. they look really neat with the saftey pin. also you can buy huge jewlery lobster claws and these work great also
I use either Glue Dots or ribbon usually. I picked up some cute cat charms the other day I plan to use with my Cool Cat set. I'm thinking about using either ribbon or maybe a thin piece of leather cording to simulate a cat's collar.
