I'm in the same boat, I had been buying only things I can demo with, but lately (with addition of 2nd child I guess) I've been shopping at specialty shops more........
I do a mix of SU and LSS. Went to the CK convention in Charlotte last week and bought some Basic Grey and Wild Asparagus papers and a couple of 8x8 albums. I'll mix the papers with SU cardstocks and stamps for my albums. Last night I went to a crop and did a BBQ layout with the retired BBQ set, but copying the layout from the mini catalog. I also did some wedding pages with the retired Victorian designer paper and the Gentle Times set. I got 8 pages done last night, and they all turned out so well.

Melaine! I am sooo impressed!! =) 8 Pages! I haven't got 8 pages done in all of the combined time for the past year I've spent scrapping!!! I wish that CK had a show by me, I'd love to go to one! Thanks to all that have voted!
I usually buy mine from Close To My Heart, Creative Memories & Stampin Up and I'm totaly addicted to the LSS I can't seem to stay out of there I also like to go to Hobby Lobby when they have sales on the scrapbook stuff

Everywhere!!!
I have been scrappin since for 10 years now and I always have my eyes open. I have found great things in the hardware store (hinges, washers, etc), the dollar store (plastic bugs, lol) and now Big Lots has even been carrying some great product lines! I have been using ribbon in my books since I started (long before it became trendy) and I always check my local JoAnn store--they often have large bags of remnant ribbon for only 1.99--1.20 if you are cheap like me and use your coupon, lol!!!!!
I also buy fabric when it is on sale and buy just 13" of each and just stitch it right onto my cardstock!!
I get most of mine on line for scrapbooking. I mainly shop at LM but I do shop around for get prices. I get my SU now through a friends demo I have never been to a workshop yet.

I use all of the above. I've been scrapping for 10 yrs and started out with CM, but several years ago when it really got popular I started going to the LSS and craft stores. I've only been buying stuff online for a couple of yrs.

I voted "home party" because I'm an SU! demo and use lots of SU! stuff in my scrapbooks, but I wish there was an "all of the above" option on the poll because that would be more accurate. I have been doing more "only SU stuff" pages simply so I can show them to customers, but I love the different papers and things at the local scrapbook stores. Then, of course, when HL has a sale, I have been known to stock up there too. I have tried not to do this lately. It seems when I stock up on stuff, I never use it. I do better getting stuff for a specific page when I'm doing that page.
I'm a Demo so it only makes financial sense for me to use SU cardstock, ink, ribbon & embellishments (HodgePodge!!!) BUT I have a serious addiction to decorative paper. SU doesn't have enough to satiate my paper appetite so I go to the LSS for cute papers. I make my own deco papers with Little Pieces & Simply Circles all the time but stripes seem to take too long so I generally buy those elsewhere.
