Default Baby Shower creative help needed

I will be throwing a baby shower for my SIL next March so I am trying to plan out the elements now: invitations, goody bags, decorations, etc... for the shower plus I want to give her some thank yous and announcements that coordinate with the rest. They are having a girl but don't want to be too overwhelmed by pink. I am thinking of using A New Little Someone and Wash Day to do most of the items with. I also have Something to Celebrate to work with.

I am looking for some ideas/advice on the elements and color combinations.

TIA

Talking CUTE

There are some CUTE safety pins with colored tops. I know that SU doesn't sell them...I get them at my local Archiver's Scrapbook Store. But them are too cute. I used some for Christmas cards that were bold but there are also pale colors...I was thinking that they would be good for baby themed things!

On my card I used the tag time alphabet set and attached the letters to twill tape using the safety pins and stuck them down to be sure that the letter was out using a pop up dot!

They are so cute!

I used Certainly Celery and Regal Rose on some things i made for my SIL's shower thsi past Oct. They are also expecting a girl. I was really proud of myself because i made some onesies for the baby and on one i stamped "I love my Auntie Stacy" It was really cute and she got a kick out of it. Just another idea to think about - as if you don't have enough!!!

Best Wishes and Have fun with it.

When I threw one for a close friend. I made little diaper pins out of scrap white material. I hot glued little bows and closed them with a little safty pin with another pin on back to attach to guests. Everyone thought it was going to be another can't say the word "baby" or cross your legs game. Except when I was making them I made a couple of the diapers dirty!! lol (brown eye liner) Whoever had the dirty diapers got a prize! It was cute. I think I just searched on the internet and got tons of game ideas.

Stop saying "I can't". You can. You just chose not to.
