Default Baby shower invitations

Does anybody have any ideas for a baby shower invitation? I have to make 50  for a lady at church. I had thought about doing something with pink vellum over the top with a white bow (as she's having a girl). I did a search in the gallery but it didn't come up with anything.

Any help would be great as I have to make these pretty quick.

Thanks

Michelle

Thats sounds cute but cut the card in the shape of a bib. Its quick and will really add some charm. Lots of cute ideas on the contest pages but if you are making 50 you want to make it cute and simple.

Default Baby Shower Invitation

I just made 30 invitations last week for my friend's shower in April. I printed out the details on the computer and then I created a template for a diaper out of a piece of plastic. The diaper folds up and when you open it you can see the info about the shower. It was easy to mass produce and looks super cute! I used the Cuddles and Tickles saying about babies and the diaper pin on the front and a sponge dauber to make yellow polka dots all over the diaper.

Here is a cute baby card. I traded it at a swap, so I can't take credit for it. It is cute anyways.

Default Baby Bib Card

My mom, TexasGrammy, made a really cute baby bid card recently... the bib flips up to reveal the message - you could put the invite info there. Since you have to made so many you could make it even more simple by just doing the bib itself and not attaching it to the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 background. Here is the link:

Just in case the link doesn't work (I've never done this before! ), you can find it in the gallery under the "Brides and Babies" section of the Monthly Contests, or by doing a search in the gallery section for "Baby Bib Card."[/url]

Here is one that I did at a camp. A friend also used the same pattern for her baby's announcement. You fold a piece of vellum in half, stamp on it then cut a piece of carstock, smaller to fit inside, then punch the top of the vellum for the ribbon bow (open end up top with ribbon, folded end at bottom). You then put all of the shower info, or announcement info, on the cardstock piece that is inserted. This one is obviously done with pinks, my friend used SU's Brilliant Blue and Green Galore, with some really cute baby elephant stamps. You could even print the insert on you computer.
