Been playing in the IRAK forum and it has introduced me to stamp brands I have never heard of and they are SO cute- I'd like to get to know more!
SO: What stamp brands do you like besides SU? And where do you find them? (links are welcome) Thanks
Whipper Snapper
Darcies
Stampabilities (Snoopy and House Mouse)
Stampendous
Hero Arts
Rubber Stampede
A Muse
Penny Black
Inkadinkado
Gray Wolf Graphics
Great Impressions
Hampton Arts
Michael's $1 stamps
Custer's Last Stamp
LOVE TAC, I can hardly wait for my new order to arrive.
Gray Wolf Graphics is another favorite. They are the BEST animal/nature stamps around. The owner hand draws all the art work the stamps are created from. They are very detailed stamps and my new favorites.

Stampscapes, Hero Arts, Stampabilities, Rubbernecker, Penny Black, Stamps Happen are the majority of my non-SU stamps. MonTigg, I buy my stamps from stamp conventions, stamp stores but mostly from addictedtorubberstamps.com. Once you find their site, no other will do.
I used to be SU only! I loved everything about SU. I then tried the unmounted stamps by TAC, and still bought the paper and accessories and some stamps. Now with The Angel Company's new paper and the DCWV in 8 1/2 x 11 and individual colors I don't buy much SU paper and Just love the new "Wing It" and "Soar With It" papers! you need to take a look!
I am partial to SU, (it pays to buy from your self!) and think their prices are *way* better than any other! And with that being said, I just recently bought a few Inky antics stamps that I just couldn't pass up....thanks to that darn IRAK group as well!
I buy CTMH, TAC, Hero Arts, Paper Salon, A Muse, Inky Antics, Sassafras Lass, Leave Memories, Autumn Leaves (beautiful doodle images by Rhonna Farrer), random stamps from Paper Source (very cool paper/craft store in Kansas City), River City Rubber Works, Postmodern Design...that's all I can think of off the top of my head!
They have the cutest images, especially for those of us North of the Border, or anyone who is looking for Northern Images. These ladies sure know how to put the fun back in snow. You just have to check out the Artist's gallery crissyarmstrong's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Being that I sell Lockhart Stamp Company - I do own everyone of their images They are FABULOUS I do believe and more cute stuff is on it's way. BUT just because I represent them doesn't mean I don't indulge in my other favorites as well and the list is LONG!!!
Memory Box
Impress
A Stamp in the Hand
My Sentiments Exactly
PSX
Magenta
Paper Inspirations
Peddler's Pack
Rubber Soul
Savvy
Make an Impression
Stampin' Up!

Inkadinkado
Impression Obsession
A Muse
Hero Arts

The list actually continues -- it's no small wonder I'm looking for better storage - LOL!
The only other one I really buy is CTMH I love both CTMH and stampin up but am a bit partial to Stampin UP. I just walked out of my stamping room and I am outgrowing my space for stamps!!
Stampington
Toybox
Impression Obsession
Chapel Road Art Stamps
PostModern Design

River City Rubber Works
Starving Artist Rubber Stamps (big favorite - most beautiful butterflies ever)
Tin Can Mail (a subsidiary of larger company)

Good question about what other stamps do I use. Well Mostly TAC as I am demo for them. But I also have SU stamps......Love the images. also Love Penny Black, Some of the HouseMouse ones. I have some of the old PSX stamps. Love D. Morgan stamps and I have a Few of Sandi Gore Evans stamp which I think are retired since Sandi passed away a couple of years ago.
Also if I love the same and think I can use it more than a few time then I buy it.
OK, I forgot to add Wordsworth -- LOVE the alphabets! I also have some from Stamp Francisco, Leavenworth Jackson and The Cat's Pajamas.
I pretty much stick to SU and I'll explain why. (I'm currently a demo, but will be un demoing for personal reasons unrelated to SU in the next few months, so I feel like I can be objective).
I used to buy tons of stamps from most of the companies named. They are lovely. However, I'm not very creative or artistic and I never could pull off a good look with them. It wasn't the stamps fault! There are many companies whose stamps I love, but I found that when I limited myself almost entirely to SU the quality of my work improved. Here is why:
I like sets. And, I like having sets that go with each other (Simply Said for example, matches one of the Hostess Sets -- Blooming with Happiness, I think). There are awesome examples of SU cards everywhere and that helps when you don't have innate talent. These 2 things really help me improve my work.
Also, I really don't like unmounted -- but I can understand if you do. It's a personal preference. I'm lazy and hate having to find the stamp, wonder which one it is (no, I don't like to index), and hope that I've placed it on acrylic block straight. I've wasted a lot of time doing that. I have bought a few TAC items, but I find that I rarely use them for that reason. I recently bought 2 A Muse Arts polka dot alphabets. These are adorable!! I'm not using them!! Ugh!
Finally, SU is the best buy for wood mounted stamps.

I have seen other stamps in my LSS but they are just single stamps and like Joan B, I find it *very* difficult to create with single stamps so I never buy anything. Also, the cost of a single stamp about gives me a heart attack!!! LOL
I have seen the TAC and CTMH catalogs but I am also lazy and would hate to mount and unmount everytime I wanted to use a stamp. I also love the new trendy stamps, In Color line, and Ribbon Originals that SU has come out with. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way some of the bold images(All Through the Year for example) are not all solid is a big bonus in my book. SU has cutesy, traditional, vintage, flowers.....I could go on and on.
I have only just recently started to branch out ... I started with SU! and I'm still a demo but I have found some other stamp companies that have images that SU! doesn't ...
So far I really like:
Inky Antics
A Muse Art Stamps
River City Rubberworks (love their sentiments - so funny)!
Katie & Co (Michael's $1 Stamps)
Inkadinkadoo
My cardstock and ink is still all SU! but I'm branching out with embellishments and tools (love those scalloped punches) too!
Bad MonTigg, Bad Girl! Why did you start this thread? Of course I had to click on some links and of course I found other stamps now that I like.
I really like the coordinating sets from SU and like others stated, I have limited creativity when it comes to stamping! But sometimes I want a sentiment in a different type style, or I'll see a card on here that inspires a buy.
So in addition to SU I have:
Inky Antics
Cornish Heritage Farms (backgrounds!)
Penny Black
Anna Griffin
and some others that shall remain nameless for right now because I'm upstairs and my stamps are down.
peggysue
Te he, I was just gonna say TAC and give you Jenn's link. She is my demo.

I am a chronic collector, so I am only SU because once I try another brand of ANYTHING I love I simply MUST have the entire line or collection and I simply don't have the space for it.
But if I DID purchase other stamps it would have to be the Cornish Heritage background stamps and Hero Arts stuff. I really, really like what I have seen so far through my hands over my eyes as I try not to look!
