Default Best Tag die cut source? Coluzzle? Sizzix? Other?

Hi everyone, I just love tags and was wondering where to find the best tool for cutting tags with mats. I've seen lots of great tag dies, but not many of them have the 1/8' mat die included. I already have a sizzix and all of their tag dies. I do like the Coluzzle too. Where can I see all of their templates?

By the way, I do have some great templates for tags but I don't have time or patience to trace and cut.

Thanks!
Vera

I have a Colluzle and don't care for it. The template slips as I am cutting larger tags. The tags look like they will mat because of their size but they don't line up when they are all cut out. I am trying to find a better way to get my tags done. I don't want to spend the money on a Sizzex but might have to eventually.

I have the Sizzix tags and they are nice, but I also have a tag punch and I really like it. It is fast and easy. I have found that the SU tag sets are the easiest and most convenient for me. I wish you could purchase just certain sizes of them though. Well, hope that helps a little.

Veramats,

What Sizzix tag dies do you have and do you like them? I'm hopefully getting the Sizzix for Christmas and want to get some tag dies but know which ones. Which are "must haves"? Doesn't the Sizzix "fit the bill" for tags, I was hoping it did because that's the main reason I'm asking for it for Christmas.

I got the sizzix last year for Christmas just for tags. I love it. It is so much quicker than tracing and cutting. The only problem that I have had is actually finding the tag templates! Most of the local stores only have 2 templates. I know that you can get them online though....I am just a 40% coupon girl when I can be! I have "tag set" and "tag, traditional combo" and I use them all the time. I hope santa brings it to you! It is well worth it!

Default sizzix tags

I love using my sizzix for tags...it's mostly what I use it for since die cut shapes are so limited in use. You can buy them straight from sizzix online. They have some other things coming out hopefully soon that will be great for scrapbooking....new tags and some "washers" for punched holes and such. You can see them online.

I have the Deluxecuts Tag templates and love them.! There are 3 different templates to choose from, I have all three. I use them all the time. Each template has at east 8 different tag styles. Each tag style can also be made into several different sizes, which makes layering very easy. You have to trace and cut but they are mostly straight lines and I trim with my CM mini cutter. Try www.deluxecuts.com or www.scrapforless.com-which has them at a discount.

I have a Sizzix & love it for tags. I have several of the large tag dies & I also have the Sizzlit tags (you need a converter to use the Sizzlits). I also have the Deluxe Cut tag templates & I use them all the time too for sizes and shapes that Sizzix doesn't carry.

Sizzix has a new sizzlets die for tags and they are succeeding in size. The problem is finding them. I got lucky and found them at my LSS, but haven't seen them anywhere else. Why not use SU tag sheets? They are definately my favorite, no work and I have a billion tags at my disposal.

Default Best tag cutting source

Does anyone make a punch for tags? It would be great if there was one like the SU punches with a handle

Whale of a Punch makes some tag punches that I love. Check out this site for various punches.

Hi all, thanks for the replies. I'll check out the sizzlits tags.

As for Sizzix, I like it, but the little tags have holes that are way too big for small eyelets, and I'm specifically looking for tags and 1/8" mats. The Sizzix tags only have two styles that have the tag and a mat or shadow. I do like the sizzix, though.

As for getting sizzix on discount, AC Moore periodically offers the dies at 40% off. At that time, they will special order for you whatever dies you want and give you the discount!!!

I do have the deluxe cut templates and I love the fact that you can cut a tag and its shadow, but I am impatient and don't want to sit and cut!

I love SU's tag sheets, but can't get all 48 colors or many of one specific color and shape.

Any other suggestions?

Vera

My mom (a die hard Sizzix addict) swears by Creative Xpress http://www.creativexpress.com/. I believe that they're owned by Provo Craft, the company that makes Sizzix, so they have all of the dies and gadgets. I think they also have flat rate shipping...

Heather, Creative Xpress had all of the shapes I was looking for both in Coluzzle and Sizzlits!

Thanks!
