sticky strip....either the one in the SU catalog or I have gotten the same thing at Micheals - different name - Tacky tape I think...

Anyway I have used it to edge a small tile with microbeads for a magnet - worked great....

The extra sticky tape (has a red liner that you peel off) works best with microbeads. I would imagine you could also use Crystal Effects with them. HTH

If you go to www.pennywisearts.com, they have sticky tape in a few different widths and in sheets. This is the cheapest I've found it!!! AND she sends things to do with it!!! It's great! She also sells colored translucent and opaque microbeads. You won't be disappointed!

Have fun!

Ok didn't think about the red liner tape. I just ordered 30 rolls of it LOL... I get mine from http://www.apeekintoyesterday.com I think its $1.30 for the 1/4 inch / 5 yard roll.

Should be interesting I am actually using Stampbord which I haven't used either. If you haven't seen it yet check it out looks pretty kewl. If i can make something small I may try the Large jewelry box for my dad for Christmas. I took a couple classes with his stamps. They are very fun..

Sometimes when I want beads in a fine lined area, I use heat and stick powder. For example for some of my 2 step stamps, I like to use the outline stamp with versamark (and classic ink if I want color), use heat & stick and add the beads. It gives a bit a sparkle to the image. The beads hold great. I also reheat after the beads, just to set.

Crystal Effects works great! I just saw a demonstration yesterday that used crystal effects and micro beads on a gumdrop stamp: suddenly the gumdrop was sugar coated!

Wally-mart has a tape too. The package just said "bead tape" and it was near the beads. Came in a couple different widths. I've used it on cards and it works well. Was around $2.50 I think.
