has worked its dastardly magic once more. Sucked in like central vac.
And I have a gazillion things to do.
But! I have to tell you ladies, if you haven't yet tried Suze Weinberg's Melting Pot for making embellishments--you don't know what you are missing! I made the coolest "goddess" impression using a (gasp!) RUBBER STAMP last night!
Poured UTEE into the pot, added some UTEE Flex and let it melt. After it was melted, I added gold and teal blue embossing powder, stirred gently to marble the colors, then poured it onto a non-stick craft sheet. Immediately pressed the goddess stamp into the molten UTEE. After a few seconds I lifted the stamp out and had my cool piece of fun stuff!
(Just added all that stuff to connect my post to stampng.)
So, off to start the first of my gazillion things--dinner.
Will be back later this evening. Besides, I need to rest up from my fainting spell induced by discoverying Faithful and I agreed on something!

This forum thing is addictive! Is it just that I like you guys? Or is it b/c I really like the stimulating - yet even sometimes confrontational - conversations? Other stuff does go undone here at home that never were left undone before finding you guys. I even stamp less <gasp>.
I don't know but it is very addictive...I almost had a heart attack last night when my computer wouldn't turn on...I was ready to hop in the car and buy a new one, just so I could get on here to chat. Then DH showed me what I was doing wrong  .
I even come on throughout work and tell myself I am just keeping current...no big deal....I can quit at any time.........maybe.............wellllll after this post maybe......hehehhe:twisted:

How dare you bring up a stamping related topic in CE............
Huggies, huggies huggies (and, NO, not the diapers!!) I've missed you, Rainsong. And, yes this place is addictive. Dh thinks there needs to be a 12 step program for recovering addicts!!! LOL! But, who said I want to recover??
And, you need to upload this newest embellishment so we can see it? I wanna see it!!
I managed to stay away for a while, but I guess I'm an addict too. I like all of you CE ladies what can I say? As far as stamping goes...I've not lifted a rubber stamp in months. There must be something terribly wrong with me.

I don't know but man I spend a lot of time here...
I stayed home today to do some stamping and housework....
I did 3 lunch tins and took a shower....that's about it. But I am sure that I am saving the world with my scs postings! I have thought about getting booted just so I can get some work done....and I am sure that there are people WAY more addicted to the net/games than we are to this...but it is lovely and disruptive at the same time.

Yeh. I must be adicted too. I keep coming back too. I don't always post a lot, but sometimes I will write a huge post and then delete it. I can say this easily because I went out for hubby's b'day dinner tonight. I usually don't drink because of all the meds I take, but I had 3 margarittas at dinner. Yup - 3. I am not sure what I am even agreeing too at this very moment....But it's Rainsong and I agree with everything you say.... So I am suppose to melt WHAT in a pot ????????????

Well, I for one am convinced that Daven and Crew have come up with subliminal frequencies that are emitted through the computer which hypnotizes all of us to keep coming back. Dang techies!!!

Sammie!! I am so glad you are feeling good enough to get out!!! YEA!!!!
Hi Debra,
We went out for dinner. It was really nice. Now hubby can finally eat and is doing great, and I can barely walk. But it was nice.....except for the 3 margaritas. I maybe had 2 too many. I have been couped up for too long. A little time with no pain. Nice. .......Hmmmm ..........My sentences are too short.:(
Did you notice that Rainsong is back??

Silly, silly me. I've been actually DOING stuff the past couple of nights - what am I thinking?!? I made peanut brittle last night for my gma's bday (doesn't look so hot but tastes pretty good...) and chocolate covered pretzels (yummy!) Tonight I have to drive my dd to RI to visit her father and study up for my anatomy final tomorrow am. yuck!!
Anyway, I just wanted to join in the love fest - I must say, I'm pretty bummed that I missed Sammie with a buzz!!
But yes, this place does suck you in - I believe this is one of many vortices (vortexes? vortexi?) Another being where all your missing socks and pens go, another where all your children's assignments that you should have signed go, etc.
Wuv you gals!!
