I hope this post shows the cards as thumbnails as it's not my intention to upload to the gallery on Sunday...do they still need approval in a post? (I can see that they are attached but I guess they might still need approval. If so, I won't try again because we'd have the upload Sunday issue...sorry in advance if this is considered the same thing!)
thanks! It was the first time I've ever "shared" a card I made with SCS...I'm still trying to find a simple idea for my "present" cards...how are you doing with yours?
I made 8 each of the ones I posted. It's easier to mass produce plus they are all going to different families so it's not a big deal that they aren't all different.

Ooops - I'm bad
Kelly, sorry for the confusion. When I read upload, never thought of thumbnails (somedays I am so confused). Your cards are great. So cheerful. I always seem to do muted fuzzy stuff, so I appreciate the talent to put together something as cheerful as these.
craftygirl04 - what kellybee said. ;) I made 27 of one design and 30-some of another. Thank goodness the 30some were sewn, or I would have been bored way before I was finished. About 20 of one design keeps me happy.
Here's my last one for the day. Just cranked out 8 of these puppies...I'm trying to use paper from a Slab that I hate...does that make me a bad person?
If anyone has a formula for a simple card they want to share, please feel free. I am amazed at how I only seem to save "complicated" cards to inspire me and how hard it is to be creative when you are restricted on embellishments - not that I'm an amazing card maker...I just usually get to play with more of my stuff!

Cute cards you posted!! (Thumbnailed?) ;) And I don't think using that paper makes you a bad person, you have made some adorable cards with it and they are going to a good cause!
I had to work on some wedding invites this weekend, but all your great cards have definately inspired and I will try to get some of my own done this week. Good job girls!

Just got back from holidays and read this thread. I will certainly get some cards ready to send off. I think I already have a stash from last year so will look for those.

I'm sure some of us  have stashes of paper that we could be turning into these cards, and a great way of using it all up.
Now I'm going to ruffle through my drawers of all that paper that I bought just because it was on sale and I thought I might use it sometime, and it was oh so cute (and any other excuse I could come up with at the time of purchase LOLAM)

brendaruse, very nice.
I have put away my christmas sets, to get my swaps done for Convention (that is if my supplies come today), and will be working on more after I return from SLC.
Keep up the great work ladies! The ones I made so far are all assembled and matched with envelopes, waiting to be mailed. A group of us have started at quarterly stamp/scrap crop weekend get together, and the next one is the 29th/30th of July, so I am am going to work on more then.
My cards are done and will be sent to Kanata on Monday. I asked a friend to help me put them together and she came over yesterday and did just that. Hope this helps!

craftygirl04 - Isn't it great to have a friend come and stamp? I love it.
Just so you all know, I am heading to Salt Lake City tomorrow morning for convention, but I will try to pop in if anyone has questions. Nadine might be around SCS to check in. I sent her a note to let her know I was leaving.
I found a stash of last years cards that I just knew were hiding around somewhere! I'll be putting those to good use and sending them off since I just can't remember who I sent which card to last year.

Just peaking in from Convention
I am just taking a quick peak in to see that all is well. Nadine - Thuderstorms? Nothing bad I hope.
You can all think of me slogging away in 100F+ heat here. I have to get up my nerve to walk a block to my hotel every night. Kind of like when it is -30C in January and you have to take out the garbage? You know it has to be done, and the quicker you get it over with the better. ;)
Hi Robin,
I put 20 cards in the mail to you this morning. Sorry it wasn't more, but with 2 kids... and we're going to Vancouver next week so I won't have any more time.
Just found out about this yesterday. I'm going to see what I can do. I might have some cards left over from last year to use too. What an awesome idea. Thanks for organizing this, I know that this is very time consuming for you. Thanks for the gift of your time.
I just finished my last batch. I didn't get as much done due to being laid up with a bad back for a bit but it's better than nothing. I also had a donation of a few cards from kgladney and another stamping friend - Helen (sorry, don't know Helen's last name!) I will be mailing the cards to New Brunswick tomorrow so they should arrive in time!
BTT - hey, Canadians...you still have one week to make some cards to send to the troops...even a handful of cards could make a difference and it's a great excuse to use up some of your old Christmas stash that you can't use to make cards for your friends again this year! Mine were mailed today!
I just stumbled onto this post. I'll try to get some done over the weekend and send them off. What a FANTASTIC idea. We need to support our troops whether we believe in the mission or not.

Ladies
Thank you for all the effort that went into organizing and making these cards...
I just stumbled on this post and would be unable to meet the deadline... but could it be expanded to include birthday and anniversary, valentines ect cards with a quarterly or monthly mailing.
Please count me in if you need more.
Heather
