can anyone tell me where else you can find the ones made in Taiwain? Inkyantics are all out and I haven't been able to find them anywhere else. The ones made in China work okay on paper with alittle texture but not on plain white. Help? If anyone can get them I can mail you a money order for them and shipping. I live in a small town and we have no craft stores but my local art store only had the ones made in China. Thanks for any help
If it is of any help, I took the "made in China" stumps and REALLY roughed them up with an emery board. They looked very fuzzy (like the grey lint from the drier) but they work better.
I recently purchased some from AC Moore as well. They were in the art section, with the pencils. The ones I bought are by ProArt. I purchased both Blending Paper Stumps and Blending Tortillion's. Both are made in Taiwan. I haven't tried them yet, but hope to soon.
I live in Winchester, Va. and our local art shop had the little ones, 2 3/4 " for 20 cents, and the bigger one ,5 1/4 " for 80 cents. Our Michaels had the other kind , we don't have an ac moore's:(. If you ever come this way, the store is on Pleasant Valley Ave.
A bit off topic but if you are going to ACMoore. They are having a scrapbooking event this Sunday 6/25. They will also have 50% off coupons. I received an email from them about this.
