I think it would be nice to ask! It's sorta like free advertising for all of them (unless it's negative) so I wouldn't think anyone would mind as long as your blog isn't UNfamily friendly! JMO
I can't imagine that you would have to ask the larger stores like Old Navy, etc. It would be courtesy to let smaller companies know you are linking them though I can't imagine that they would have a problem with free advertising...as long as your blog is family friendly, like ladylinks said

I think you should do it! I love my blog and am having so much fun with it!! It's a great outlet for me and a fun place to put my creations and a little bit about me. I feel that I am getting to know my stamping friends so much better because I see them "IRL" on their blogs.
When I first started blogging I asked a couple of different store owners if it was OK for me to link to them (and they said of course) - now tho I don't bother asking and I just link to my favorite stores. I have yet to ever hear of a store NOT wanting to be linked to LOL!
As long as it's positive stuff or JUST a link then I see no issues - it's when someone posts anything negative or stuff like that there *could* be issues if YKWIM???
I love blogs, everyone get a blog, post every card you make, I can't get enough. I buy less magazines now with all these blogs! I still buy plenty though.

thanks i'll check it out but I think I might be lost...
I went to a site with free counters and now I have some crazy letters and symbols and it says to copy and paste it somewhere and I cannot figure it out for the life of me :rolleyes:

I know I don't care about linking and I doubt anyone else does either. A lot of bloggers also do a "trade off" type thing. Basically you let them know you're linking them and they're glad to link to you also. It's super friendly and everyone is happy to show off each others creations.
