Red face Brayer question...

I finally got a brayer so I can do a bunch of the techniques that require one and As soon as I took it out of the box, my 2 yearold grabbed it and went to town rolling it everywhere. Well, it's the soft rubber one and it picked up every piece of lint and hair that it could find (I won't tell you how much it found). Is there a good way to clean these? Can you just use good old soap and water? Thanks!

I would think washing it with soap and water would work. If not, maybe roll it across the sticky side of some packing tape.

Don't ya just love it when they find that dirt and hair you have spent so much time trying to hide. Brayers are great. I have used mine and then not cleaned it till the next day and just putting it under running water cleans it right off.

Smile Great!

Thanks for the answers! I haven't had time to use it yet, too many Christmas cards in progress. But I hope to learn some techniques with it and teach a workshop in January or Febuary.

That's how I get my nearly 3yo DD to clean up the dust bunnies - LOL! She loves "rolling" as she calls it!
