Question Brayer Question

Ok, I'm looking at the catalog and I'm wondering what/how you use the different brayers. Anyone tell me what each one is good for? AND...which one is a good, all purpose one?

Thanks!

I only have the rubber brayer and have been using it for everything. It seems to work pretty well. I also wondered about the foam brayer and the hard plastic brayer. As long as my rubber brayer works for the technique I am trying I see no reason to purchase the other two.

I have all 3 but the hard rubber roller is a good all-purpose roller. I use both the hard rubber & foam rollers for inking up bg stamps & creating DTP effects, backgrounds for my cards (& s-book pages). The hard clear roller doesn't hold ink - I got it to use for rolling out clay (haven't used it yet). (BTW - Michael's carries all of this & you can use a coupon.) I figure these types of non-SU merchandise are offered more as a convenience to SU's customers who might not have access otherwise. The money I save buying same/similar items at other stores, I know I have spent buying SU specific goodies (more than I would have otherwise).
Have fun!

Are the brayers that you get at Michael's or AC Moore the same as the brayer in the catalog?

Yes the Speedball Brayer is the same in Michaels or in Stampin' Up! catalog.

I actually have two as 1 is permanently black.....so I use it for black or any other DARK color.

The other one is used with any other color BUT black and it rinses clean.
