does anyone have a good source for the dual tipped markers - fine point and brush other than SU? Made up my Xmas list too late for dh to be able to order them...TIA
I would say run down to (or phone first) your local stampin' and scrappin' store. When I need something and just can't wait they usually have what I want.
I have a few dual-tip pens made by Tombow that run a close second to SU's. I think I got these at JoAnn, but you can probably find them at any store that sells stamping supplies. HTH ;)
thanks! I heard about the Tombow but no one seems to have a set and dh is NOT going to pick thru and pull out every color!!!! I'll keep searching...
GarnetJ - thats a great idea too...only the last time I was at my LSS (about 1 year go) the wacko helper they have accused my then 5 yr old dd of shoplifting some chunky stamps (she did not however) and I have not been back there since:( ...their loss though...I spent ALOT of money there and I never heard from them...even after my mom (she was not happy that her DGD was wrongly accused!) went in and spoke with the owner...
I would have your husband contact your SU demo for a gift certificate.....if you order $50 of stuff in Jan or Feb you can choose one of the sell-a-bration sets for free!
Funny you should say that!!! I just told him that instead of having him searching for markers I am revising my Xmas list to read that I am requesting permission to get the SU marker set and an alphabet during Sellabration...I work with a few demos and he has no clue as to who they are, etc...I would be happy with a handwritten note (for proof in Jan!) that I can purchase these items!!! I have purchased too much stuff on my own in the past so in order to curb expenses (mostly mine!) I am trying to keep myself on a tight stamping budget...that of course does not cover other crafts that I dabble in as well!!!;)
