Default Can you use Stazon on Fabric?

I am wondering if you could use stazon on fabric (cotton t-shirt). I would like to use the Little trucks set on my sons t-shirt, but do not have a black craft ink pad. Can I use stazon? Will it wash off after awhile?

TIA- Theresa

Well, considering that StazOn pads use the same sort of ink as Sharpie markers (which is why they smudge images stamped with StazOn), I seriously doubt the ink will wash out. It might fade a bit, like Sharpie ink does when you try to get accidental stains out of clothing, but it's probably not going anywhere!

Yes you can use stazon on fabric. I had a snowman sweatshirt with the usual stains on it that wouldn't come off, so i grabbed my blue stazon and a snowflake stamp and stamped my heart out. Then i used crystal effects and dazziling diamonds to the snoflakes and heat set with heat gun and let sit overnite,,, wore it to work the next day and of course i had to brag about my sweat shirt!... everyone loved it!!!... and I'VE WASHED IT 3 TIMES AND THE INK IS STILL FRESH.... a just a little of the glitter came off.... ! so proof positive stazon works... oh yeah, one more thing,,, my hubby wanted wildlife curtains for his room, and so i used my DD Pines to show him how it would like,,, used the green stazon for trees,,, looked cool, he just didn't like the little frill on the curtains... bad choice of curtain styles... oh well,, but it does work!!

Thanks! I can't wait to make the shirts. My boys will be thrilled.

I used Staz-on on this shirt I made for my daughter. I knew making a white shirt for a 2 1/2 yr old was risky but it washes up great.
