I'm looking for a good set to make b-day cards for my 6yr old DD's friends who are boys. If I can do other types of cards & scrapbooking pages, that would be a great bonus. Which of these two sets do you recommend? Or is there another set I should consider? TIA!
I bought Good Sport just because I thought it was a little more playful looking and more my style. Also to me a bonus for Good Sport is that I wouldn't have to go back and color it in after I stamped.

I just borrowed Sporting Goods from a friend, so I could make a set sampler with it. And I fell in love with it! It is great for doing boys cards, but I think it is more versatile than Good Sport in that it is also great for men's cards too. This set is now on my wish list.

I recently ordered these 8 unmounted stamps with frogs doing sports like hockey, football, volleyball, bingo(?), golf and basketball from Sunday International. I was pleased with the quality of the stamps.
I like them both, but I think I would have to vote for Sporting Goods. I really love the little stars that comes with that set - they add so much to a scrapbook page or card. Good luck in your decision!
I got Good Sport awhile ago and chose it over the other b/c it was less expensive. I regret it, for a couple of reasons. One the background stamp that is supposed to be a fill in is oblong and doesn't really fit into the balls right and the Sporting Goods set offers more options. I also think the SG set is more realistic looking and more user friendly. I would spend the extra 7.00 to get the SG one. JMHO
Thanks for the great input - I think I'm leaning toward Sporting Goods. I didn't even notice the stars - they are really neat. I could even use them on other cards. I really like coloring in and am planning to order the WC Crayons - they'd probably be better with the SG set. And it will also work for older kids (& men). THANKS!

Yeah - I love those little stars. I have used them on my daugther's cheerleading scrapbook pages too.
For me, a mom with three girls, I love my sporting goods set. Since I don't have any need for lots of boy themed sets, sporting goods covers it ALL!! I really do love it, and the style is perfect for making adult male cards too, especially with the golf stamps.
I used it to make a card several months ago for a 12 yr old neighbor boy, when I was over the other day, it was the only birthday card he still had sitting in his room - so I'd say, even a boy at that age would give it his vote too!!
I'd vote for In the Wild - all kids love animals and it's masculine enough to use for cards for men, too. And it's great for scrapbooking - I've used it on pages about safari park visits, and just with pix of the kids climbing or messing around in the garden - eg, "wild thing".
I have made some great boys cards with All Wrapped Up. Most boys that age love frogs and fish. But I am really glad that I bought Monster Mania before it retired!
I just ordered this set and can't wait to play around with it.
