Cards from my Gallery are Missing

Hi All! I wasn't sure where to place this thread, hopefully I'm in the right place. I've had two cards go "missing" from my gallery! One about a month ago, and another I just uploaded yesterday. Anyone ever had that happen? Thought this was most strange.:(

Hi, Debbie -- You need to give each image file a unique name before you upload it. You shouldn't use the default file name that your camera or scanner assigns to it because it will be overwritten when someone else uploads a file with the same common name. It could be in someone else's gallery....I just emptied my gallery and, low and behold, I had two other SCS'ers cards in my gallery.

Very interesting!! I've never seen this thread before, but this totally makes sense. I'm almost postive that I did NOT change the name of the photo when I downloaded it from my camera, so that's probably where its gone. I'll be sure to identify each picture before uploading.
