Yesterday a posted a request for card fronts that I could turn into cards to send to the troops so they could send nice cards home to family and friends. So far no response, but I have another request. About a year ago there was a girl in South Carolina who I could send the cards to and she would take them to a base nearby and they would be sent. Well...when my computer crashed I lost the information. I think her first name was Keri. She then moved to Texas and had a friend named Heather who was going to take over the task until she returned to South Carolina. Does anyone know who either of these gals are and how to contact them. Thanks...Marie (Synsee)
Marie, here's the link to the "big" thread about the cards for troops. It's been an on-going thing for a few years now! Looks like the last time it was updated was just this past October, so the info in the top post looks current:
Sue Salsburg (buckeye01 here) also sends regular shipments of cards to the troops. If interested, send her a pm and I'm sure she'd appreciate more cards.
She's great and will put you on an e-mail update list. She sends out some of the e-mails her troops send to her about the cards, and it's so gratifying to read their own words of appreciation for the cards. Any and all of the folks sending cards over are doing a really good thing!
