So far I've been very disappointed with the
SCS coverage. At this point most of the pics have been of individuals-- sorry folks I would rather be looking at the booths and NEW PRODUCTS

So what you are saying is that the people who are there and nice enough to give any feedback at all on this free site are disappointing you?

There are lots of other sites that have the pictures you're looking for. If you google CHA Winter 2007, I'm sure you'll find plenty. My impression is that the SCS team is going to bring us the show from their perspective as well as showing us some of the new cool things that are probably particularly of interest to our general SCS crowd - new stampin stuff, new tools we can use, etc. I think they're doing a great job and are offering a really unique *extra special* bonus that they didn't have to offer at all. Plus, I can tell you from experience that being at CHA is living in complete CHAOS. Blogging and downloading pics from there is difficult to get done, at best. So, I would say, just give it a little more time... perhaps they'll continue showing us some of the new stuff even as they get home and have a few moments to breathe again!

I am just so grateful that they are taking the time to post the blog! What a huge amount of work, and we are lucky to get a sneak peak into the new goodies.
And I, for one, like seeing the photos of the gals that are so often mentioned as the "stamping elite" for our craft!
Thanks JulieHRR, Davon and Julie, and everyone else, for the wonderful and generous effort this blog represents.
You are so good to us!
(((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))
CHA isn't over yet & I am sure they have a ton of photos to sort through before the blog is complete. Julie will most likely have photos on her personal blog as well when she returns home so you might want to check that out too.
They also might just like to give us a little 'tease' everyday until they return & can upload a bunch of photos for us.
Who knows though - it's their blog. I think what they've posted is fun so far & think it's great they've done this for us!
Guess you should go to CHA if you want to see everything!

Jess you said this so much more nicely than I did, LOL.
I apologize for my rudeness-i was just seriously taken aback that someone would criticize what some folks are nice enough to share with others. ;)

I spoke with Julie earlier, and she'd just lost her internet connection while trying share more pictures on the blog. Since Sunday, they've been busy, busy walking the floor, taking notes, and talking to everyone! She has a LOT to share, and will do so as she can.
In the meanwhile, check out the gallery! Other splitcoasters who have gone to CHA are sharing their pictures there.
They still have lots of time left to bring us more of their wonderful perspective! I think that it is very cool that they are sharing with us! Thanks guys for taking the time to upload pics and for blogging. You look mah-velous!! It's always so fun to see pics of you guys doing other things outside of your beautiful SCS pictures. It's kinda' like seeing your teacher at the mall when you were a kid! (Didn't she live at school??? Hmmmm. LOL!)

I say give them some time. There is probably lots to see and do. I would rather them spend time checking everything out and then blogging about it after the event. Seems like you would want to spend your time on the floor of the event rather than blogging in your hotel room. I can wait. Thanks for SCS for doing this for us.

Thanks for the heads-up about more CHA pictures in the gallery...they are great...thanks everybody for all your efforts!
I LOVE the SCS @ CHA blog - it's so fun to get to see all the pics of ppl I "know" - and to be totally honest I dont' care to see ALL the pics of ALL the new products - there is SO much that it's totally overwhelming!!!

I'm not disappointed at all - I am just happy to start writing a list of things to look for at the March scrapbook convention in Portland
(If I can wait that long before breaking the bank)

You have every right to your opinion, but don't expect too many people to agree with you. I thought Julie's blog was great, but that's just me, and I'm thankful that she's volunteered to take time out of her schedule to do it.
Disappointed in SCS going out of their way to do something for us?? NEVER!!!!
The info will get here.
Did you think about the logistical issue of an internet connection in a hotel or convention center?
Maybe if you are not happy with the SCS coverage, you can ask for your money back.
Oh, that's right, THIS IS FREE!
Thanks to SCS (you rock, DAVEN!), JulieHRR, Jami (great photos this AM!), and all the others we have met on this site who are sharing their experiences with us. WE LOVE YOU! WISH WE COULD BE THERE WITH YOU!!!
Wow..well considering you would have been seeing squat since you're not there, I'd say you're doing quite well to get what you get..just my opinion, of course...

Not sure if everyone is aware, but there's a new & growing gallery for this trade show: 2007 CHA Winter Show Gallery <--click!
Oh, and I've only been to one trade show, Memory Trends (MT) in Oct '06, and it was huge and overwhelming and I never got around to emailing pics to my friends while I was there. We did so much walking and talking about product and orders that we were too exhausted. And those were long days, too! I've heard that CHA is waaaaaaaaaaaay bigger than MT, which only had scrap and stamp related booths. CHA has all sorts of hobbies and crafts...not sure how it's organized and if it's easy to find the scrap and stamp booths amidst the others. People at MT kept saying how insane CHA is because it is so huge.
I'm loving the updates and I appreciate the time that goes into updating amidst all the other things that they need/want to do there.
And I am loving the links to Companies on the right hand side of the blog!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time to do the blog and finding time to show us stuff!!!!! I am so grateful to SCS and EVERYTHING they do for us.
I appreciate the fact that they have taken the time to post what they have to the blog!! Sounds like they've had some internet problems along the way, and are trying to get as much info. out there as possible. Thanks to Julie, Daven and the gang for taking the time to show us some of the wonderful new crafting items!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!

I enjoy the product and sample pictures but I also really enjoy seeing the pictures of the people I "know" from SCS! Please don't stop sharing the people side of CHA. It looks like so much fun to be there and I love seeing the smiling faces of all the folks who are there! Thank you so much for letting us see CHA as you see it!
Jess you said this so much more nicely than I did, LOL.

Yeah, but you had more fun, lol. I was too surprised to try answer. I knew somebody could be more diplomatic than I woulda...
Personally, I'm like Joan...it's more fun to hear about the adventures than see pictures that will only confirm that my $ will be flying out the window soon...

Agreed! I just finished 3 days WORKING at a big trade show & those days were very long indeed. I was very tired at the end of each day & just wanted to go to my room & sleep. Forget about signing online to do anything! Give me a comfy bed, hot bath & room service instead - I'll catch up w/email, internet stuff later!

I can tell you I'm GLAD not to see a lot of products (yet ) I just placed a BIG, FAT Sellabration order and don't need to be running to the LSS to buy something else! Need to give the old checkbook a breather!
I, also, like seeing the pictures of our SCS friends. Like Gina K. said, it is sort of like seeing your teacher at the mall!!!
Keep up the good work, bloggers!!!:-D
I look for detailed pictures of products from sites that sell them - that's not what I come to SCS for.... I come to SCS to feel the "sharing" aspect and excitement. And that's the feeling I get from the BLOG. And I LOVE it.
Guess I come here to get enabled (and I'm never disappointed ) and to other sites to buy. So I'm happy to go to other sites to see detailed product pics from CHA.
