My dh stamped me my anniversary card!!! He went to the gallery for inspiration. Made one thing and said "it didn't turn out" and tried again. It took him like 2 hrs!!! But, it's really good! He even stamped by definition strainght THE FIRST TIME! He used punches, eyelets, crystal effects. He said he wanted to use as much moss as possible because I have told him I want to paint a room in the house moss. Anyway, he thinks it sucks, but I am way proud of him! I think he really is paying attention when he looks at my stuff!!

Ok - now I want to cry. That's about the sweetest thing he could have done! He took something that was important to you and made it important to him! What an awesome hubby!
Hope your anniversary was extra special! He definitely started off on the right foot!

Now isn't that the nicest thing! My dh rarely even comes into my craft room - thinks it has cooties or something! Sign him up sweetie! Some definate talent there!
When my husband went into my stamp room to supposedly make me a card, I broke out in a sweat. If my husband was as good as yours, I'd have a new stamping buddy. Tell him we are all proud of him.
What's so funny is he is incredibly critical of his own work (lol, maybe because I am of my own??) and he will tell me everything that didn't work they way he wanted! I think he has real talent.
I was totally cracking up when he came out and asked for the color coach. I told him I didn't have one anymore and I hadn't ordered the new one yet. He said "well, I apologize if the colors don't go together then!"
WOW! That is so sweet. He did a really great job. Watch out, he will be in your room all the time now. I'm lucky if my dh even remembers our anniversary. Maybe I should make him a calander.
Wow! (as everyone else said) That is a great card for a second try, it took ages for me to be able to stamp straight - oh, never mind I can't really stamp straight now. What a nice guy. (I do admit to mixed feelings about my husband in my stamping stuff - is that normal?)

Great card! I'm impressed with the embellishments and the slit punch and layering and all! He did an awesome job! I'd love to see my DH try that--he's far too Type A to try anything that "fancy" (but he does great things with wood!) Maybe the reason my DH doesn't stamp is because there are no "real" power tools involved....
Happy Anniversary!

Wow. Just the thought would have been sweet. To attempt so many techniques is super. And to end up with such a great card is fantastic! What a wonderful man you found for yourself!
Do you think this was a one time deal or will he stamp with you sometime in the future.. maybe help with Birthday or Christmas cards?
very impressived indeed! i can't believe how well he did with the slit punch!
and mellow moss is a GREAT color...the exterior of my home is a dark mellow moss.
When I painted it, I had many of my customers ask if I had taken cardstock down to the paint store..... and then they asked if my trim was creamy caramel...and my doors baroque burgundy.
they all know i'm a diehard!

Your husband was brave and used your supplies. My hubby surprised me with a hand-stamped birthday card which turned out really good. He used my son's stamps and inks because he said he was afraid to use mine because he didn't know "the proper procedure to use them" (since I tend to be "particular" about them!). Our habit is becoming contageous!
Great Card!!!
I think it is great he takes an interest in what you love to do.
I also think it is incredible that he made a beautiful card.
My DH wouldn't think about doing anything like that.
THAT IS TOO AWESOME!!!!And a really good card!!! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you please send whatever you have been slipping your dh my way so taht mine will get the stampin' bug?! He keeps saying we don't have many/any hobbies in common and I keep telling him to get stampin' but he won't! That's so sweet of your dh!!!!
WOW!

Such a talented guy! He did a really good job. My DH makes cards for me too, and it's the best thing about the day, (be it a birthday or anniversary etc.)!! He not afraid to get his fingers inky!
