My parents were going through their attic and found an old stamp set that was my grandma's. She was a teacher and bought this set in 1932 for her classes! Now I own it!!! Whoo hoo! Can't wait to use some of these stamps. A few are missing the rubber images, but as you can see, there is a lot of stamps!!
Do you know what an amazing find this is!! How lucky and blessed you are. I have a very small set that I bought at an auction at a one room school house about three years ago. They were used to to create "worksheets" before computers and typewriters and such. Normally they used a whool (sp) rag and indelible ink to ink them. My how things have changed. Enjoy them. It is an incredible collection.!!!!
OMG that is soooo coool!!!!!!! How lucky for you!!! Too bad its family history, otherwise I would offer to buy it from you!!
What an awesome find!!

Not only is it so great to have some new (lovingly used) stamps but you have something OF your grandmothers and you two obviously shared a similar interest.
Ohhhhhh, you are gonna have WAY too much fun with these! I'm so glad you shared your pictures! It sure puts a new spin on Everyday Flexible Phrases, eh?
Enjoy!

I agree with Edie what a wonderful find! I cherish the everyday things that my grandmother used like her ice cream spoon, crochet needles and can opener etc. I think of her when I use them . Just such a wonderful gift and find consider it a sweet blessing from her and enjoy! TOO COOL Stacey
