Default Choc Chip or Close to Cocoa?

I need to order some brown paper and ink - which do you like better or find you use more?

I think I like Close to Cocoa a little better, but I also really like the Sending Love Specialty paper in the Occasions mini, which matches Choc Chip. Right now, I can only afford to get one or the other. Any opinions?

I tend to use close to cocoa more myself... but i really wanted to say both to you, love brown. the new incolor soft suede is a really nice shade too.

(depends on what you want to make i guess) (of all their "browns") i go through kraft like water...

I like them both, but I use Chocolate Chip more often. It's a nice "softer" alternative to black.

Just an idea - sometimes in my stamp club, two people will split orders of cardstock if they both want the same colors. For instance, person A orders a package of Chocolate Chip, and person B orders a package of Close to Cocoa. Then when the order arrives, they divide the packages in half so they end up with 12 sheets of each color. Is there anyone who would be willing and able to do that with you so that you can get both colors?

Not sure if it helps your decision but the DP is (was?) on back order the last time I looked.
If you are a sponger go for Close to Cocoa. Or go for the Choc Chip paper and the cocoa ink. I find that ink more forgiving but still strong enough to use for images you might color.

I already have choc. chip and I've been trying to decide between Soft Suede and Close to Cocoa to get next. I'm probably going to go with Close to Cocoa since Soft Suede is an "in color" and will be going away soon. Besides, I think I like the color of Close to Cocoa better anyway!

Lately I've been using Chocolate Chip more frequently. It's my new black- I like the contrast with some of the lighter colors, especially with pinks and blues.

I do love Close to Cocoa, but I use a lot more Chocolate Chip. It's one of my "go-to" colors.

A while back I would have said Choc. Chip. Lately though it is Close to Cocoa stamped with Choc. Chip ink.

I use Close to Cocoa more as an accent. I go through a lot of Chocolate Chip but I really like soft Soft Suede as well.

Thanks for all the responses! I did a little browsing in the gallery, and I think I'm going to go with Chocolate Chip, at least for now...;)

I have been using Close to Cocoa more lately, only because I'm just about out of Chocolate Chip (no full sheets left) I have been waiting to place a PTI order because I am going to order Dark Chocolate to use in place of Chocolate chip. Having said that, the darker is my first choice!

You should get what ever color you like best, but personally, I use chocolate chip way more than I use close to cocoa.

Another vote for Chocolate Chip. I just seem to reach for it much more than the Cocoa, even though they live right next to each other in my paper stash!

Your instinct to go with the Close to Cocoa is a good one! It will pair nicely with the Choc Chip that you already have; the Soft Suede is an off-color brown and looks nasty with the other two colors (JMHO ;)).

I am absolutely hooked on Soft Suede and will stock up on everything that color before it goes.

Between Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa, I find myself reaching for Chocolate Chip every single time. It's just more of a versatile color to me.

I go through as much Chocolate Chip cardstock when stamping as I do chocolate!! It is definitely the most used color in my stamp room.
