I typed in CAS (clean and simple) and Christmas to get this in the gallery. You can also type in OLC (one-layered card). There are lots of simple fast cards you can make!
http://www.stampsbyjudith.com/index.html This site shows samples of the Tree For All Seasons... Then you can buy the pegs to stamp on the tree... I plan to do up a bunch of these for Christmas as they are really quick and easy to do! They have a sample of the Christmas bulbs tree... I am going to do a Gingerbread one! If you look in my Gallery, I have a Monkey Tree!
A quick word on this... I'm currently making 2000 cards for my DH's employer, and the card that they chose is pretty easy.
Choose an easy design, which can be tarted up to make it exciting. Christmas is a time for sparkle, so add some bling to the cards. I'm using a Martha glue pad and a lot of Dazzling Diamonds to add the spark to the card that I need. I don't have a photo handy, so I can't show it to you now, but my card uses 2 of the stamps from Lovely as a Tree, quick masking, and a sentiment.
I'm about halfway through the stamping, and my goal is to have them finished by the end of August.

How on earth can you make 2,000 cards???? I would be so sick of them by the time I got to 100. Bless you my child :>)

WOW! I can't imagine 2,000 cards. Please post a picture, would love to see it.

Last year my boss asked me to make the 'holiday' cards for his ethics center. I looked at him like he was from Mars....and he only wanted about 150 of them! Of course, he didn't think to ask until the middle of December, either =)
How in world do you price such a huge order anyway? I'm sure you're giving them a volume discount, but with the supplies and all your time, you've GOT to recoup your hard investment, anyway.
Wow.........I would also love to see one of those 2,000 cards when you get a chance!

I'm actually about to go back to stamping them in a few moments. It's dark outside, so I'll definitely take a photo tomorrow of my card, and all of my supplies I'll also give you an idea of how I priced the whole thing out.
I will say this... I can't do it all at once. I took some time out this weekend to make other things because I have a whack of birthdays and friend/neighbour moves coming up. I also made some cards that I had been thinking about for awhile - mostly punch art - and was happy to see some of these come to fruition. They are slowly going up on my blog this week.

Okay... before I completely forget, here's the card. I've also attached photos of all of the paper!!!
I hope they pay you in real money! When I worked full time and I did stuff (asked for by the boss) I never saw a penny...just comp time which, being a teacher, was more trouble than it was worth.
This is a large corporation, with a written quote involved. How I got this project is quite a story in itself, and it's likely something that I will be able to do for as long as my DH works for the company. I'm totally not worried about the payment. Repetitive strain injury from all the stamping... that may be a concern!

WOW! Your cards are very, very pretty! I'm blown away; I don't think I could even attempt to make that many cards at once. Looks like you are doing an incredible job! I hope your husband's company loves them. Thanks for sharing your photos with us.
Right now I'm starting to work on some Christmas cards for my brother in law and his wife. I have to make 50 cards and I'm thinking to myself, what a chore! I truly love your card and if it's okay, I'll have to and make one.

So....Can I hire you to make my Christmas cards next year(since you are so busy now). All I need is like 30 cards????

LOL! Of course! I'd be more than happy to make cards for whoever asks. I've been collection Christmas card samples for awhile now, and am in another Christmas swap in mid-September. I'm offering a service this holiday season where I can either cut all of your paper (and you can then do the stamping and assembling), design your card, or outright make them for you. It all depends on what people want. I'm finding that some people are good with the stamping, but it's the actual paper chopping that's making them scared. That's the easy part!
