Question Christmas Color Combinations

I was wondering if anyone had any good color combinations for Christmas cards? I am looking for 3 or 4 colors that look good together and that coordinate well.
TIA,
kath

I love the combo of Handsome Hunter and Bravo Burgundy with silver embellishments, ink, etc. I personally am not a gold fan, so even the new pewter or antique brass hodgepodge will look great!!

This year my cards are going to be garden green and real red. You could also add, white, black or creamy carmel to the mix and it would look great.

I am an Earth Elements girl myself, so I really like the Ruby Red, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, and maybe some More Mustard look. A little retro, but that's totally my style.

I'm rather an oddball when it comes to Christmas Cards. I am planning 2 - one almost amethyst, black and silver metallic with silver embellishments, and another with eggplant, black and gold.

Last year I got SO bored with making 50 of the same card -- greens/pinks/burgundy/gold. So, this year I'm going to make several different kinds and I think at least one is going to be completely non traditional -- maybe light blue and brown or the new apricot and celery. I want my card to pop off a display!!

Last year I did navy blue, going gray & white with silver embossing powder & silver ribbon for a not-so-traditional look.

Without having the new colors in front of me.....I would say some combination of Certainly Celery, Bravo Burgundy, Natural and/or Kraft, and Handsome Hunter or Always Artichoke.....

The absolutely positively most adorable new color combo in the Christmas card section has to be on page 45... Elegand Eggplant, Chocolate Chip, and Old Olive. I am not sure which set I'll use, but I'm doin' that for a lot of my Cmas cards.

Last year, the big color combo for home decorations was a Mellow Moss and Silver. VERY pretty and no-so traditional combo.

But I agree about the color combos in the new catty. LOVE all of those nontraditional ones.

Last year I did Night of Navy, Bliss Blue with silver embossing. Not sure what I'm doing yet this year but I'm thinking of going more traditional, maybe Mellow Moss with Ruby Red. I'd love to think of some combination that would use the new eggplant.

Julie

P.S. I just held up Mellow Moss, Ruby Red and Elegant Eggplant paper up together, and I think this will work. I just bought some copper embossing powder, I wonder if that would look good on any of those papers. I'll have to start playing soon.

Question

Thank you everyone for your candid responces.

I am thinking about Night of Navy, Handsome Hunter, Real Red, with a hint of Brushed silver and silver embossing powder. I am thinking about using Holiday Spirit but am not totally sold (I ADORED seasons sketches but it retired).

Any other thoughts?!?
