Smile Which Christmas set?

I'm curious to see which Christmas set(s) you are all ordering and what interesting things you plan to do with them! I am having a hard time deciding which set to order!

I'm waiting for the new mini catalog to come out. In the gallery, there are some beautiful samples to heighten the excitement! I really like the samples of the stamp of a church...don't rmember the name. I'm a little tempted to get the silly set of Santa "cruising" in the big catalog. DH liked that one too. I don't make many Christmas cards, so I still have time to make a decision.

Default Christmas Sets

Not a new set, but I had to have Flaky Friends, so ordered that one & not sure of the name of the other set, it has the tree in it that is fill of the words which will look nice on a dark paper, embossed with gold.

I like the new Trim the Tree set in the holiday mini. I'm definitely going to be getting that set!

As far as the big catty is concerned, I like Peace Be unto You, 'Tis the Season, and Sleigh Full of Toys. I haven't seen the holiday mini yet, but I like the samples of Silent Night and Reindeer Print best so far.

I love that set too. I think that's the only holiday set I'll get this year.

I've been wondering the same thing for myself. I'm kind of leaning towards the Madonna and Child one in the catalog. I can just see those tile coasters made out of that set with the french script as a background of some sort as christmas gifts for neighbors and family. Last year I bought the Snowflakes set and made candles for neighbors as well as some ornaments....stamped the snowflake on clear acetate (overhead stuff) and inserted it iinto a clear bulb and it looked like the snowflakes were hanging in mid air. Turned out really cute....idea was from my demo at our stamp club meeting last year. And use Stazon ink. I'm anxious to see the new mini flyer cming out...will wait till I see that before making my final decision!

I love the glass bulb idea! Did you post any in the gallery? I thought I might try candles this year too.
Anybody else have some inexpensive gift ideas?

I don't think I am going to buy any of the new holiday sets. I have Flakey Friends, Bundle Up, DD Vine and Berry, and Happiest of Holidays. Do I really need another holiday set? If I do, perhaps I will get Cold Play from the new mini.

For the bulbs, look in the Gallery under anything but a card and then look at the Christmas option.
