Default clasp on spring mini cover- HELP!

I would like to know if anyone can tell me how they did the clasp on the saddle stitch book on the front cover of the spring mini catalog.

what holds it to the main body of the book? just the brad?
what a pain to open and close if it is-

I am working on one like it and I love the look but nothing I do is working
please email me at home [email protected]
with your replies-

Thanks Gwen

I don't know for sure, but I think it is the twill tape that holds it closed, not the hardware piece. It looks like the hardware piece is held on by the brad, then the twill tape wraps around to the back and ties in the back somehow. That is my best guess. HTH

ditto what Jennifer said...wouldn't the hardware rotate on the brad out of the way of the flap, and just pop open?
