Just thought people might want to know that SU updated their clearance rack with a ton of new stuff. Big buttons, taffeta ribbon, 12x12 real red paper, old style punches, new color water color wonder and pastel kits, etc.
I have spent so much money on crafting stuff this month but those old style punches are hard to pass up. Plus there's some designer paper that I kicked myself for not ordering. I don't think I want to have to kick myself again.
I know I'll be getting some money at Christmas, hopefully some things will be left until then.

Lots of good stuff!!!! I placed an order for some more punches, I love the old style punches, I think they work better. I like the new style for storage but the old style work better IMO. I picked up some sizes that I needed!!!

I was happy to see the ribbon holders! I thought I ordered extra when they retired but guess I didn't or didn't order as many as I thought (or maybe I've just bought too much ribbon, lol). I was actually about to post an in search of....now I scooped some up....hope it was enough, lol!
It was totally weird ordering from someone else now. But it's kinda cool too, knowing that she'll be getting that "You have an online order" unexpected email.
I didn't see the 12" x12" red CS either.
However, what I did find is after you get to page 10 keep hitting the forward arrow ( after the last page number) and there are a "gazillion" pages after that. They have no page numbers

It looks like the red cardstock is gone. When I was ordering my punches I noticed somethng funny...both old and new style punches in the clearance section are listed as regular price being $10.66 and then the clearance price listed as $9.59 ...I paid $16.95 for the 5 petal flower punch (new style) just a month ago...did I get charged the wrong amount? Or did the old punches used to cost less than the new ones and they just made a mistake? Just curious is all

The old style 5 petal punch was $15.95 in the 2009 catalog. They went up to $16.95 so you were not charged the wrong price.
I think The site has a few mess up's
As I explained in a previous post the Clearance rack doesn't end with page 10 . There are a lot of pages after that. Just keep hitting the forward arrow.

Yes, that's misleading! I had read over on the Demo side of all the supplies available or I would have missed it. I know it doesn't look like there's more but you just have to keep hitting until new pages stop appearing or hit "ALL" in the right corner and all of the items come up. It's harder to zero in on items that way. I think there may up been upwards of 20 pages. I got some of the old style punches too. I've had good luck with my new ones but I like the old one just as good or better. This was the sale of the century, especially since the clearance rack had the same old, same old for sooooo long. the easiest thing to do is click Show All per page rather than the default of 9 or whatever. That way there IS no second page...it's all right there.
The red cardstock is sold out, yes. And the Blitz lasts through Jan. 5th.
Thanks !! I never saw the "All" pages
Every time I clicked to check something out and went back to shopping I had to start over on the Clearance rack page 1 and hunt for the page I left :(
I ordered a couple of things I would not buy at full price . $3.99 is fine for DP if I know I won't use some of it because I don't have those colors

YES!! I made out like a bandit!! 17 items for like 45.00. I wish I had known they were going to do this before I placed my Spring Mini preorder to the tune of 297.00. I might have "rethunk" some things?
I was so happy to see the new items added.. I got 15 rolls of ribbon, 3 punches and a pack of DSP.. for $69 and change.. what a deal. I love the taffeta ribbon.. and ordered multiples in every color. My whole order was clearance rack items.. can't wait till it all gets here.

No, not a mistake. The regular price of $10.66 is if you just order straight from the SU website. The $9.59 preferred price is when you select a demonstrator's website to order from.

It may take a few days longer than that with the clearance rack special and with Christmas. It says 1-2 days but that's not always a guarantee and the day you place the order doesn't count...just an FYI. They have been getting orders out at a pretty good pace lately though!

I ordered from a demo's website and was charged $16.95 as well. I'm going to have to do some checking.

I wish this was made more clear to all of us that are trying so hard to watch our pennies. One price from one website, but another price from a different website. And, then when you think you've done it right, you still end up paying $16.95. Guess I need to do better homework before purchasing. I'm a bit frustrated today.

I see...I was thinking it was REGULARLY $10.96 but NOW $9.66....I was confused It's not all that hard to confuse me So...it means the clearance price is $10.96 BUT if you order through a demo, you get an extra dollar off. Sheesh...someone get me some coffee...and quick!!!

evidentaly, demos don't find out abut this until we do. I was just as a workshop, and ended up paying the full shipping, because my demo was going south; and just can't see paying full shipping again, so I can't even look at those items, too tempting.

I don't understand what everyone is getting so excited about. While saving money is always good, the price reductions aren't anything to write home about.

Ok...let me figure this out loud in my simple terms:
Order through your demo: punch...$16.95
New Bargain Bin price: $10 something
Order from your demo, Bargain Bin price: $9.59
Correct???
JUST checked out the site and it looks like they removed the $10 something price. Maybe it was causing too much confusion???
Well, I waited a few hours to let my demo see if she wanted to combine an order with mine, and lost out of the Jolly Holiday DP. Oh well. I did end up with a good deal on a couple of punches I wanted and some ribbon.

I thought the prices were really good. The punches weren't the est deal, but if you were looking for that style, then the price was decent.
I ordered mostly DSP and trim. I got 20 items for about $90 including shipping and tax. No too bad in my book.
I am pretty sure only the old style whale punches are on sale (photo of new style 5 petal flower will be a mistake). so the punch you ordered thru your demo will be new style while the ones on the clearance rack will not be. HTH a little

Yes. I do get that. The sad part is I like the OLD style better. Don't care much for that new sleek design. I'm an old school kind of gal. It's ok though. I got my butterfly punch this week and I've been wanting one forever...all because of those cute little pansy flowers.
I've communicated with my demo and we are both in agreement about how things transpired. I would never imply that she did anything wrong. She had checked the Bargain Bin for me before my order was placed and the punch wasn't there at that time.
Thanks to everyone for all the chatter and help in clearing up the pricing issue.

Ok, let me try to clear up some confusion....
Some of the punches are from the European market so you will get the new style if that's what's ordered. It has nothing to do with the wrong photos. It actually explains it if you click on the item.
Second, the pricing. The original catalog price is listed then the REGULAR price is what you will pay if you order DIRECTLY from the SU website. If you order from your DEMO'S website then you get the "preferred price". It's SU's way of encouraging customers to order directly from their demo's site instead of the main SU site. Make sense?

Not everything was deeply discounted but when DSP that is $10-$12 goes down to $4 and ribbon that is $6-$9 a roll is at less than $3....that is IMO something to sit up and take notice. The price reductions are fabulous because of the quality of the product and maker. I don't do cheap supplies, so I don't have sticker shock when I go to buy what I like.

So, when I paid $16.95 I received the preferred price from my DEMO???

If you paid $16.95 for a punch, then you did NOT buy it from the CLEARANCE RACK and it is the Clearance Rack that everyone is talking about.
IF you do an ONLINE purchase THROUGH YOUR DEMO'S Business Web site, you get a better deal than if you just go to the StampinUp Website and place an online order....that is what Minders was saying.
