So I have the color caddy and one extender. Does anyone know if we can add another extender on top of the first one (i.e one caddy and two extender pieces). I know that in theory stampinup would have us take out the old in colors since they are retired and then there is room for the new ones. I don't want to do that. I want to use all of them but am already out of space. Any thoughts?

I'm interested to know this too. I saw some of these exact same metal rod things at Home Depot and I thought, 'HEY! I bet these would fit in my spinner!". Next time I go, I'm taking my rod with me.

good question.
I was just thinking about getting another color caddy since I have all the new In Colors now but instead I jsut put them in a drawer where I will probably forget all about them:(
It might work, but it seems like it might be kinda wobbly. Do you know anyone else that has an extender kit that you could try on yours before you buy it?

Have been wondering this, also. And like you, I'm still using retired colors and don't want to give up table space for another caddy. Decided today to order the extension & just pile up the reinkers into a little pyramid on top until the whole think topples over. LOL
I ordered an extender kit a few months ago and love it. I did notice though, that it will only extend once. There is no way that you can connect another piece once you've got one extender kit on there. I have tons of room in mine though - I have all of the classic pads as well as a couple of craft pads, but it all fits with room leftover. I have a spectrum pad that fits well in the regular slots, and in the top, I've got my reinkers, versamark pads and stazon pads.
I don't see why you couldn't add on. Mine is full with SU pads only with the extender. I have all the new colors and was thinking of adding on instead of starting a new one. I was just going to buy a lazy susan for it to sit on as the extra weight might make it hard to spin. I'm going to call demo support tomorrow and ask.
Do you have wall space? I emptied out my wooden tape deck holder and hung it on the wall. You might could do something similar for your retired in colors where you could still see them to use them but designate it retired pads. I've seen the ink holders with an extension. I personally wouldn't try another extension. Center of Inertia would be too high for something of that style and use.
P.S. I'm an engineer... not a spelling coach. *LOL* I know I misspelled quite a bit in here!
